Hello! I am new to this forum and to the idea of astral projection! I do meditate and do yoga, though not as much as I used too, but have recently been researching the chakras and astral projection. I find the material quite fascinating! My question to you, and you probably have been asked this many times, is did I almost astral project. My story is as follows:
Yesterday, 10-7-14, was a full moon. It was really beautiful!! That night after seeing something on facebook about a full moon meditation, I decided to go outside and mediate under the moon. I did that off and on for about 30 minutes. At the end, maybe 20 minutes in, I felt weird: I know "weird" is not a good way to describe it. And also a little tingly, mostly my lower half. Then out of fear, I think, I opened my eyes. The tingling lasted maybe 2-3 seconds after i opens my eyes. When I opened my eyes I was also dizzy, or I should say my vision was off? That probably lasted, in all, 10 seconds. And I know I didn't project fully, but was wondering if it was the start of it projection. Also, keep in mind I did not do yoga or have mediated for a while before this happened, so I though it was wired if I was already at the stage of projection. It sounds like an energy shift. It may or may not be related to astral projection. Doing something different sometimes shakes the cobwebs loose. I would continue to experiment along such lines. If you feel that the moon phase is important to what your experience then that is something to explore further. I would also encourage you to find your own unique avenues of exploration.
I think it's entirely belief-based.
