In the back of my mind, I've been wanting to find out what year it is when I've been aware.
Last night/this morning (I've only just woken up and still feel sleepy but need to write this all down before I forget), I had two marvellous experiences. This is the smaller one.
In the dream, I had just come home from work. Four people were in the room playing poker. I know all four from physical reality (and in turn, they all know each other). I wanted to join in but they were in the middle of a game and I couldn't really join in until they'd finished.
I've no idea what triggered it, but I became lucid. I noticed that one of the four was with her ex-husband and not her current husband. I thought this was interesting. The ex looked slightly different - younger and more relaxed.
I watched for a while enjoying being aware. Then I remembered my question. I turned to one and said, "Please don't think this is a silly question, I would just like you to answer it for me - what date is it?"
He looked at me. I said again, "I know it sounds odd, but please just tell me what year it is." (I realised I didn't need to know the full date - and it would be easier to remember a year.
He mumbled something. I said, "please would you repeat that a bit louder for me." I was being "myself" and smiling at him, but I was also quite determined not to blow this.
"1150" he said (spoken like "eleven-fifty").
"1150?!!" I responded (I couldn't help it!). Is it really? 1150?"
Again, he just looked at me calmly.
Inside I was hollering and whooping cause I thought it was amazing that here I was with my friends from physical reality - and we'd most likely all been together in 1150 too!
With all that excitement, I awoke.
That was the smaller experience. Next one to follow... where I do something I've been planning since I first started having OBEs. And I do it spectacularly!! :-D

Not to burst your bubble Sarah but some experiences like this have elements that are not accurate. I cant honestly say this experience isnt right, but I get a distinct psychic feeling that 1150 whats right. Feel free to kick me in the scrot and deny this but thats just what I feel. Me love you long time.

You may very well be right! I tend to simply write down the experience and my feelings about them at the time. Hence the hollering and whooping was part of the experience at the time.
I honestly don't know what it actually was. I guess it depends on one's beliefs. There's a theory that we live all our simultaneous lives at the same moment as we live this one, therefore I switched to another 'focus' that happened to call the time period 1150 (or eleven-fifty). 1150 could mean anything.
It may have been one of those nonsense random dreamy type dreams - and just because I was ultra-lucid I saw too much into it.
Who knows? Not I, that's for sure. :-D

Hehe... that perspective on it is going to kill me!!! If I hear something that doesnt seem right I always think "naw, its just some random dream thing"... like in an experience I posted about my clock reading 10G47.... I didnt think anything of it, but what if it DOES mean something? BAH its all wacked out if you ask me. I just think that once you cross that border any answer you get from anyone about ANYTHING is generally blurred. Its like it all passes through a number of filters, what your mind is thinking, what the seemingly autonomous intelligence of the person is "thinking", random chance, etc.
The first thing that came to my mind was he was giving you the time, but hey, who knows. I believe that we are time travelers and could very well be that he was giving you the date. Was he drinking by any chance? :-D

I didn't see any signs of drinking! But you never know...he is a bit of a joker in physical reality :-D

I thought of the time thing, too.
Did you ask your friends in "real life" if they shared the same dream, or at least a similar one? There is a thing called "mutual dreaming", where people share dreams.
