Since, from your description, this was a "real time" projection, you might ask Mom if she has any recollection of your encounter with her.  There is no telling what she was so alarmed about.  Could be she had a bad feeling about "those other places" you wanted to go to or it could be an evil entity that took on her appearance and was just trying to deter you from continuing your Astral travels.  It seems to me that you might try using your intuition to determine the meaning as best you can as you are most familiar with you own internal thought mechanisms.  Good luck.

This post seemed really obvious to me.

She thought you were dying.

When you left she thought you wouldn't come back, ever. You were flying off into the great beyond and it was the end. All she could do was cry out in helplessness and pain.

There are couple of reasons this could be.
1) Did you have an accident/illness/near miss as a child where she thought she was going to lose you? Were you a premature birth?
2) This could be a past life thing, perhaps you died on her the last time.

Anyhow, she seem terrified of loss. Has someone close to her died? If this happens again you can just reassure her that you'll come back, or invite her to come with you.

layla, thanks a lot for your yours.  it brings that experience into a new light.  My mother is very worried about me, she may be a bit more too concerned about things she cannot control..  I was often very sick when I was a little kid and thats possible she feared to lose me though she tell me that way...  I guess it's quite natural for a mother to act that way when they see their son leaving by flying in a very weird place... hehee...  She also have issues toward astral travelling because she once had an obe and thought she was cold dead.  By the way, my progress has been faster these days, im less afraid and im getting rid of many negatives influences I felt so far during my work.  thanks

This title might seem curious but it seems its really the case... my last obe was a few months ago and I talked with my mother while I was outside my body.  I remember it as a very peaceful and funny experience.  we were both laughing and smiling and barely talking at all.  But then I felt like visiting some other places and it suddenly happened; I heard my mother screaming in pain;  noooo!  then I got back into my body...  At first, I thought it was nothing really, I decided to not worry about it.  But then I thought about it again and the sound of her voice sounded so alarming, like she was really trying to prevent me from some danger..  I didnt want to but I guess it frightened me and now im unable to obe again.  I used to make real good progress but since that encounter with my castrating mamma everything is f****up.  What do you think she tried to say?  I thought maybe she was just wanting me to stay with her longer... I dont know, maybe that wasnt so dramatic.  what do you think?
