Facinating, in my astral experiences and that of other's, i have experienced and read about these cord like things attached at various parts of the body, so from my pereceptions, you most likely astral projected, lucid dreams and normal dreams are all out of the body, not soley created within the brain.
me and my sister both practice OBE's a lot, and we always joke about if one of us succeeds then we will go and pull out the other (even though we know this is nearly an impossable feat, exspesially for beginners). well last night i got lucky AGAIN and had a lucid dream again. im not sure i have ever had a real astral experiance because i cant seem too tell the difference between lucid and astral, so maybe ive never been in the astral. but anyways i "woke up" in my dream and started remembering who i was and stuff when i said "hmmm i got an idea, im gonna try and pull out cherri". well i went over too her aparment (again im not sure if i was in her apartment in the astral, or an imagined apartment. this whole thing is probably imagined but i felt like getting your opinions on it). her apartment seemed real enough too me so i walked over too her and she was asleep. at this time everything seemed bright, even though it was night. she was asleep but i could talk to her, i said im gonna pull you out now, and she said ok. at that time everything went black but she was glowing!! she had no skin but she had little blue lines that spiraled up her legs, stopping at various nodes and such. then her chakras spun in a pulsating circle, with there respective color, untill her whole body was all i could see and it was so bright. then i grapped her heart chakra and started pulling and pulling and BAM i was awake. i think it was a dream because i was reading about chakras before i fell asleep but it was interesting none the less. i asked my sister and she said she had a crazy vivid dream, but she diddnt remember any of it..... wierd.....
