Astral beings or not?

I realize not everyone here believes it is possible to meet other entities in astral.  I believe it is a possibility, as I seem to come into contact with two different things.  If I feel like there is another being with me, I ask it to show itself (they always appear 'human' to me so far).  Sometimes if I look deeper at them, they change and appear warped (like looking at a funhouse mirror), and this signals to me that they are parts of my own subconscious.  Sometimes when I search deeper, they do not change.  I am wondering if there are other ways to tell.

When I encounter beings that arent projections of my mind their energy feels foreign. I dont feel any energy when it's part of myself.

Good point, blis.  I have had that same experience.  Also, I always forget to just ask them...lol
