Hi All
In some of my recent out of body experiences I have been commanding myself to travel to the Halls of Amenti. This was stimulated after listening to a Darius J Wright podcast (funny but never heard of this place before). Anyhow every time I travel there I'm literally in a dark void with what looks like several brightly lit / golden hexagon shapes that appear to be flat / non 3 dimensional. They will then spin into what then looks like a large cylindrical coil. Next a blue mist will then coil around me, this freaks me out and I then wake up.
Is the Halls of Amenti a place which is open to interpretation and I will not see the same place as Darius describes? If I can overcome the fear I was thinking of moving towards the hexagon shapes, it's just this wierd blue mist that coils around me which is throwing me off.
Hi Alex,
I'm not sure I've seen your post before, but it seems you're not new. So, it's nice to meet you. What a beautiful experience. It's incredible you have the ability to go where you want to.
I was drawn to your thread by its title, the Halls of Amenti have a beautiful sound.
Before looking it up, I had the thought that every person translates their experience uniquely. Some people describe the same thing in different ways. Even with "healthy" vision, the same color may be interpreted with slight variations depending upon the observer.
Now try to think of every person that has ever tried to define God. So when you ask, "will I not see the same place Darius describes?" I think the answer is obvious- even if you are indeed going to the same place.
That being said, I asked AI to quickly summarize the Halls of Amenti(I have no familiarity with the subject).
This definition may be helpful to you...
"The Halls of Amenti, as described in the Emerald Tablets and related esoteric traditions, represent a mystical space of transformation, wisdom, and self-realization. Whether viewed as a literal subterranean realm or a powerful metaphor for the journey of the soul, they encapsulate themes of enlightenment, the overcoming of illusion, and the pursuit of higher consciousness."

I wonder whether or not there is an aspect of your self you may be afraid to face? I think what you are doing, exploring the unknown in the manner you are, takes incredible courage. And so, I wish you continued success in your endeavors. :-)
Thank you for sharing! It's always nice to engage with others and be drawn towards spiritual inspiration.
Thank you so much a lovely response, I have been a member of this site for many years, but I have not posted in a while.
I have had OBEs most of my life, I'm lucky where they naturally occur whilst sleeping (I simply wake into my OBEs from the dream state).
Most of my journeys have always been close to home, however now I'm a lot older (now in my 50s)? I want to start exploring further a field, as mentioned it was a Darius pod cost where I heard him discuss his journey to the halls of Amenti, and it sounded like it was a place of knowledge and/or a library where one could visit, explore and gain further insight about about oneself, context, and our overall purpose.
Again thank you for the thoughtful reply.
Hi Alex,
It's another peculiar choice of words that grab my attention.
"Journey's have always been close to home... Exploring further a field..."
I wonder... Whether or not there is more to reality than how we perceive it. I think the answer is yes. And I wonder if you are actually going "out" or whether or not you are going "in."
I think the answer is you are going in, and the field has more depth than we realize.
These are just my thoughts/ideas as they dance around whatever field this is- entertaining whatever awareness this is...
It is curious! In the physical realm, as we understand it through our basic senses... There is quite some distance between friends who are states apart.
And lately, I wonder how a spirit might make itself known to both of those people at the same time by way of sensation/experience despite their apparent separation.
Or, I think of those who pass away... Reports from family members that the "deceased person" is "everywhere" around them- not some specific region in space or any particular time of day.
I share these thoughts as I contemplate the Halls of Amenti... And your ability to "go there."
That's a great focus target Alex. Make it your "Happy Place" and you will visit it often. Allow it the freedom to "evolve", for it will! 8-) Don't question it will while you are there. Soak all that knowledge in! There is plenty of time to question it later!
I too do this, but I use doorways, like in my Doorway thread here on the Pulse. I will either give the target or find that the target already has a number, which will correspond to a certain door. While focusing on the darkness before my eyes, I will mentally enter it like one would a cave, hallway, etc.. There I will search until I would find that particular door and enter into it. That is, if I am "allowed" to. Like has been said by many others here on the forum, some doors are not meant to be open, "yet"!
I guess you could say it is different path that leads to "Remote viewing".
This topic reminds me of the Astral Pulse Island project - there is a sub-forum for it. Basically back in 2003 a group of us created Astral Pulse Island in the Astral using a physical image representation of the island which was online here. Projecting there involved a sort of phasing technique using the physical image as an object for the subconscious mind. Not sure if the original image still exists, perhaps Xanth could check in the website root. Astral Pulse Island is a tropical island surrounded by vivid blue ocean with a pyramid in the centre.

Throughout the years there has been a number of attempts to take this on as a "group" focus, but unfortunately, it never panned out. I was having great success with it. It truly became and still is, my "Happy Place"! It has evolved quite a bit though. There is always something new to explore there! 8-)
Over at the EIC Forum of Fred Aardema's, we had a thread dedicated to a focus on a "Barbeque"/meeting area that we could all attempt to access. The thread was called "the Barbecue" It worked, and we were having success, but then Fred shut down the Forum. I was really hoping "B" and the others would come to the Astral Pulse to continue what we were doing. I miss that forum. I miss my talks with Fred too. The forum was made up of people that were well versed in consciously projecting/shifting into NPRs. I am pretty sure that almost every Moderator that is currently here on Pulse, was a member there as well! Good times! :-)
Since this discussion has drifted slightly into the idea of "group focus", I thought I would add my own ideas and context.
Over the last nearly ten years, I have tried the 'group targeting" of the Astral Pulse Island, the EIC Barbecue and only had very limited results. Honestly, I had no visuals and only limited, what I could define as, energetic impressions of each place and some of the possible people there.
According to psychology, I am like most males and primarily dependent on visual stimuli and so I expect direct visual feedback in my astral excursions...the trouble is, I don't always get visuals and that becomes quite frustrating. Through many experiences, I had to learn to experience through different and mostly energetic and non-visual means. This is a different form of learning: Learning from understanding of energy, complicated by emotional context, complicated by contexts I still do not fully understand.
This complex of ideas and understanding came together more completely when I attended several of the residential Monroe Institute Programs, which I highly recommend. It was during the second program, Lifeline, where we do Retrievals, and then the Starlines Programs, where we venture about the Multiverse that I found a better, though not complete, understanding of the "group focus". The strange thing was, I still had limited visuals of the "gathering places" but I seemed to have better intuitive understanding of what occurred there than the participants around me. It was highly interesting what some people experienced, yet others didn't; me included. Some experiences, I totally received; others, I did not. In the Lifeline exercises, we would meet at the astral version of the TMI Living Room, but I never really had a solid visual of that...still, we would descend to F23 and retrieve some souls. In Starlines, we would gather and board a starship and travel the solar system and later, the Multiverse. I never had much of a visual of that until Starlines 2, when we boarded the starship and I had a vague idea of where our 12 participants were within the ship. That night, not feeling very confident, I proposed a quiz- write down on a piece of paper where everyone 'intuited' they were on a 12 o'clock dial...
Surprisingly to me, my map was the most accurate and agreed upon...it wasn't perfect but everyone agreed it was the most accurate. I was absolutely surprised because my visual sense of the scene felt like 20% at best. There was also some multi-person interaction that occurred that totally verified the situation for me. My take-away was that so much of our understanding is also coming through on subconscious, energetic levels...and to recognize that and not deny it.
My point in all this is that- A visit to The Halls of Aventi, Astral Pulse Island, Bee's Barbecue, my group's Retrievals or Starlines adventures...all those experiences are available. It likely depends on a person's individual ability to focus and probably the remaining energy sustaining the destination. If you want better experiences, then put in the work to improve them.

I apologize to Alex for hi-jacking his thread. It has opened to some good discussion though! I'm sure that many here can benefit from this discussion as well.
EV, you are correct. Not everyone will perceive things the same way. We confirmed that on the Barbecue thread at the EIC too. The NPRs are not just a "visual" experience. They can be experienced in all kinds of different ways. Visual imagery is just one of them and what most people would "expect" to see or experience. The "energetic" side is just as important. Each and every way has something new to show and teach you! Leave yourself open to all and there will be no limits!

EV, that is such a good quote, that I feel it needs to be repeated again. In bold letters this time! :-)
The responses above has stimulated a lot of thought on my side towards understanding the dilemma with how context can define content and how content can also define context. I see this (at least for myself) as influencing and steering the directional path of how I interface with multidimensional awareness, and how perception is more fluid and symbolic. This in turn lends itself towards my experiences thus far with the halls of Amenti.
However I'm of the belief that this is not an open book, some chapters are already written, it's just how I can access and read them.
I have no experience of these halls, but I can offer a few general observations and suggestions.
Regarding your initial post:
QuoteIs the Halls of Amenti a place which is open to interpretation and I will not see the same place as Darius describes? If I can overcome the fear I was thinking of moving towards the hexagon shapes, it's just this wierd blue mist that coils around me which is throwing me off.
As I am sure you are already aware, the non-physical can be much more "fluid" than the physical, the higher the vibratory frequency, the more fluid it seems, the major determining factor being the influence of the Mind, your expectations etc. Same applies to projecting to AP Island and I assume "the barbecue", no two experiences will be exactly the same due to the influence of the Mind and how it interprets the energy associated with the object. Fear will inevitable result in correspondingly fearful experiences. So a good way of approaching your projection to the halls is with a feeling of expectation, anticipation etc.. If the blue mist appears, know it cannot harm you, and know that you are safe and protected, and view it with curiosity. As you are aware, all communication is effectively telepathic, by thought transfer, so while remaining calm, mentally ask your questions and expect an answer. You may receive an immediate response, not necessarily in words, but by a "knowing" . If not you may receive the answers later. Ultimately, the Mind is all powerful, so your state of Mind will exert an influence over your experience.
In the past here I made a thread attempting to revitalize the motivation to "return to Astral Island". Unfortunately, it died out quickly. There were some great ideas in that may help your own NPR explorations Alex. Perhaps we can stir up some interest to work on some targets as a group. See what we can see and compare our results! :-) See, being used in more an "observer" roll.

Sounds fascinating and would love to try this, my only problem is the difficulty applying the right level of commitment. My experiences the majority of the time occur when I awaken from a lucid dream, this is how it's happened my whole life. Sometimes I will have 3-4 out of body experiences in a week, then other times it can go quiet for a month or more. Irrespective, I have read the thread on the astral island and I'm going to see what happens from my end, curious what I may find (if anything at all).
Sounds weird saying this but sometimes having noisy dreams and then OBE/projections through sleep can take a toll on my wellbeing (ie I'm tried all the time). Sometimes it would be nice to have the ability to just switch off, perhaps I need to focus on another way to go on these journeys.
The advantage with having a physical visual of AP Island is that it provides the subconscious mind with a definite object to reference as a target for non-physical exploration. This was one of the main purposes of the visual, unlike, for example, the Halls of Amenti which has no physical equivalent to reference.
It is quite possible to reach AP Island from an etheric/RTZ OBE by bringing the AP Island to Mind based upon memory of the physical image, and commanding going to the Astral equivalent. In your case it seems that the sleep disturbances from which you project are disturbing your sleep schedule causing an adverse daytime influence on your wellbeing.
Another method of projecting is by Phasing. Phasing, as a meditative approach, provides much more control over the experience including when to practice it. For projecting to AP Island, the physical image can still be used as a reference target for the subconscious mind to associate with.
You can find detailed information about Phasing on Xanth's webpage:
An Easy Guide and a Step By Step Book on Astral Projection (https://www.astralpulse.com/xanths-phasing-primer/)
Here you also view/download Xanth's excellent book:
What is Astral Projection, and How To Do It (https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ayh8wvrkg8i0c38cq895u/Phasing_Primer.pdf?rlkey=cnbgtehkzfr3e993t8weoidzx&e=1&dl=0)
Also, over a couple of decades ago there was a member, Frank Kepple, who was an expert and highly accomplished at Phasing, who most generously shared a considerable amount of knowledge here on the forum, which can be viewed/downloaded here:
Frank Kepple Phasing Posts (https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/n1ynkly4k28wzq4zdt28r/FranksPosts.pdf?rlkey=gnuye5lk3quiimznfkk3zy1ex&e=1&dl=0)
Learning how to Phase into the NPRs while consciously aware will also lessen the exhaustion you feel after a LD experience, and even an "OBE" itself.
It becomes "familiar". Unfortunately, it still will have an "emotional toll". That is why I say that learning how to become consciously aware in your "Dreams", is not for everyone. Many times, it will either make or break your waking day!
As for the comments above and even the photo of the Astral Island. That has always been my "happy place" throughout my life. The imagery of approaching it from above as you descend down to the sand below is awesome. That is when you allow your curiosity to steer your course, don your "Explorer's Cap" and go explore. Many times, I find that an adventure awaits.! 8-)
Its sort of coincidental that the Astral Pulse Island image as shared above is a pyramid on an island, where as my search for the Halls of Amenti is often referenced as entering through a pyramid (linked to Egyptian mythology), then once entering, travelling to the halls which exist below. The image shared above sort of lends itself with creating the visualisation needed from my end. However I also see the halls of Amenti symbolically linked to an island due to its isolation, sacredness, and in a place surrounded by the unknown.
I'm interpreting that the image behind the Astral Island provides the needed expectation, driving the conscious intent and focus to travel there. This has made me question how much of a vale has been drawn across my experiences vs what I would view as my conscious authenticity, maybe I need to stop comparing things to the physical, but i guess the idea of a group / shared target is something I have never really considered and would be curious to know the intent and driver behind having one?
I hadn't heard of the "Halls of Amenti", so I looked it up:
Quote1. What is The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean?
The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean is a work attributed to Thoth, a mythical figure said to be an Atlantean priest-king who later became the god of wisdom, writing, and magic in ancient Egyptian mythology. The text is claimed to be a series of tablets that contain mystical and esoteric teachings, including concepts related to immortality, spiritual ascension, and the structure of reality.
Though it presents itself as an ancient text, it was actually written in the early 20th century by Maurice Doreal, a pseudonym of Claude Doggins, a New Age occultist. The work is not considered a genuine ancient artifact but rather a channeled or inspired text that draws upon a blend of Hermetic, Atlantean, and Egyptian themes.
2. First Mention of Amenti in the Tablets
The first chronological mention of Amenti in the Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean for you. Let me get that for you.
The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean is a 20th-century esoteric text authored by Maurice Doreal, who claimed to have translated ancient tablets discovered in the Great Pyramid of Giza. While presented as ancient wisdom, it is widely regarded as a modern creation, blending themes from Egyptian mythology, Hermeticism, and Atlantis lore.
First Mention of Amenti
The earliest reference to the "Halls of Amenti" appears in Tablet I, titled The History of Thoth, The Atlantean:Kemet (https://www.kemet.sk/clanok/the-emerald-tablets-of-thoth-the-atlantean?utm_source=chatgpt.com)
Quote"I, THOTH, the Atlantean, master of mysteries, keeper of records, mighty king, magician, living from generation to generation, being about to pass into the Halls of Amenti, set down for the guidance of those that are to come after, these records of the mighty wisdom of Great Atlantis."World Enlightenment+1Kemet+1 (https://world-enlightenment.com/Tablets-of-Thoth/Tablets-of-Thoth-The-Atlantean.htm?utm_source=chatgpt.com)
In this passage, Thoth introduces the Halls of Amenti as a realm he is about to enter, suggesting a place of transition or preservation of wisdom.
Symbolic Interpretation
The Halls of Amenti are depicted as a subterranean realm beneath Atlantis, serving as a space where Thoth and other enlightened beings undergo cycles of death and rebirth, renewing their strength and wisdom. This concept aligns with themes of spiritual transformation and the pursuit of eternal knowledge.
While interpretations vary, some view Amenti as a metaphor for inner enlightenment—a symbolic journey into the depths of one's consciousness to attain higher understanding.

The "Emerald Tablet of Thoth the Atlantean" is a contemporary contrivance, totally unrelated to the original.
This is an article I wrote over 20 years ago on the subject:
The Emerald Tablet of Hermes is an ancient text thought to have been originally found written on a green stone tablet, documenting the nature of the Universe and how it came into being. Although the tablet is "emerald" in colour, it is thought to actually be a green stone such as jade, and the writing was raised in relief as opposed to carved.
It was originally thought to have been discovered by a person by the name of "Balinas", who subsequently wrote down the entire text in the ancient Syriac language, from which it has since been translated into many different languages.
The Emerald Tablet is not only significant from the point of view of describing the process of creation and the nature of the Universe, but is also the basis of alchemy. Contrary to popular belief, alchemy is not necessarily the transmutation of base metals into gold, but rather refers to the ennoblement of the Soul and Spirit on the path to perfection, the ultimate mission of everyone and everything in creation.
Following is a 12th century Latin literal transliteration of the Emerald Tablet of Hermes:
"True without falsehood, certain most certain
What is above is like what is below, and what is below is like that which is above. To make the miracle of the one thing.
And as all things were made from the contemplation of The One, so all things were born again from one adaptation.
Its Father is the Sun, its Mother is the Moon.
The Wind carried it, the Earth nursed it.
It is the Father of all works of wonder in the World.
Its power is complete.
If cast to Earth, it will separate Earth from Fire, the subtle from the gross.
With great capacity it ascends from Earth to Heaven. Again it descends to Earth, and takes back the power of the above and below.
Thus you will receive the glory of the distinctiveness of the World. All obscurity will flee from you.
This is the whole most strong strength of all strength, for it overcomes all subtle things, and penetrates all solid things.
Thus the World was created.
From this comes marvellous adaptations of which this is the procedure.
Therefore I am called Hermes Thrice Crowned, because I have three parts of the wisdom of the whole World.
And complete is what I had to say about the work of the Sun".[/i]
Edit I also included the complete exposition I originally wrote for each line of the text, but later concluded it was not relevant to topic as a whole, so I have removed it. If anyone is interested I can re-post it.
The point is, The Halls of Ementi is very much an ongoing topic of interest, but not in any way related to the Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus.

Read. Believe or not, but read. And the vibration found therein will awaken a response in your soul!

I read "The Emerald Tablets of Thoth" from the above link. In the book's "Introduction" and "Preface", the author gives a clear explanation about it. It is an altered state of consciousness translation, so a kind of channeling. The author acknowledges that some people might have doubts of the authenticity of his source, but he invites the reader to keep reading it anyway, and use it as a conduit to draw knowledge, interpreting the material according to his possibilities.
The book contains some ideas worth pondering on, that were, very likely, acquired through channeling; they aren't your regular new-age ideas about physical and the wider realities. As expected, any channeling material must contain some distortions caused by the beliefs of the channel (the author), so an intuitive interpretation by the reader is required.
I wouldn't call the book fake, invention, fiction, or such.
I recommend reading this booklet, with the above observations.
I checked a couple of Darius J Wright videos about the Halls of Amenti, and in my opinion he largely misinterpreted Doreal's book, Thoth's teachings, about that subject.
Alex's experiences' description in the opening post has commonalities with some of my altered states experiences.

Setting aside the issue of the Emerald Tablet, I read some of the text.
In my view it was almost certainly channelled, I doubt the publisher of the text could have written it. It certainly seems to contain a lot of wisdom if you can extract from the extensive and very unusual way it is written, which in my view is unlikely to hold the attention of many who start reading it.
Thanks for sharing anyway, and for your ongoing contributions.
This should clarify some things for whoever's interested. Probably I could continue through the rest of the book, if there is interest.

EDIT 5/15/25: After comparing the AI conversion (to modern English) with the original text, I decided to remove the quoted conversion. The AI took liberties in its interpretation of the text, which it didn't disclose, and I hurried to post it, believing it might be of interest. Sorry.

Well, I will say that this is an interesting topic, if not a paradox There seems to be two main issues here:
1. The authenticity of the tablets.
2. The content of the tablets.
I have no idea of who this Doreal person is, aside from the title he gives himself. With regards to:
QuoteDoreal claimed that he was directed by a spiritual order called the Great White Lodge to recover and return the tablets to the Great Pyramid. Before returning them, he received permission to translate and retain a copy of their teachings. This translation was supposedly completed in 1925, but only now is part of it being published.
While nothing is impossible, I seriously doubt this story, which seems to me to be a cover explanation as to how he supposedly acquired the text. Also, this suggests that the text was not channelled but rather that Doreal somehow managed to translate the tablets from some obscure text, probably hieroglyphic, which, in itself, is doubtful in my view. As for returning the tablets to the great pyramid - you cannot just walk in to the great pyramid with a bunch of tablets and hide them somewhere, and in any case, although the pyramids are much older than historians claim - I would say nearer 12,000 years, they are definitely not 36,000 years or more. Also, the ancient texts, whatever they are, are usually claimed to be located in a chamber beneath the Sphinx. So my immediate thought is that this is all a cover story to justify the supposed importance and authenticity of this text, which came about some other way. Also the fact that Doreal uses a false name and gives himself a grandiose title does not add much credibility, as if he wrote or channelled it and wanted to make it seem important so people would read it.
2. I haven't read much of the text, or intend to, but there is certainly truth and wisdom in the text if you can extract it, how he came by it is questionable
Interesting discussion anyway.
I believe I understand where you're coming from. My approach is a little different.
When I read or watch something, or evaluate an experience or a perception that attracted my attention, I look beyond the message and the facts; I intuitively interpret them as deeply as I can, considering the message or the facts as symbols intended to convey knowledge and guidance for me specifically.
In this way, it doesn't matter where the message comes from, what was the intention of the author, what is the apparent informational value, or credibility, but only what I interpret from it; and it is very likely that most others interpret it differently, according to their specific needs at the moment.
We each read and understand, perceive reality, through the filter of our beliefs, some of which we aren't even conscious that they aren't hard truths.
Probably one of the most important Thoth teachings, from this booklet, is that we are here to learn, or how he puts it, to progress from the darkness of ignorance to the light of wisdom. He states that wisdom, one's goal, comes from knowledge, and knowledge comes from experience. These teachings are in stark contrast with most religions and philosophical schools, especially the nondualism which preaches not thinking, and dissolving into a oneness soup with the loss of one's individuality.
Thoth preaches conscious learning.
The eternal struggle between darkness and light, isn't between evil and good, but about the inner progress from ignorance to wisdom, where the wisdom is infinite, opening to higher and higher unimaginable deeper levels of wisdom.
The time references in the booklet and preface, are meaningless in absolute terms, they just symbolize the enormous number of lessons man has to go through. This alludes to the widely misunderstood physical time dimension, and of the nature of reality.
I believe that one can draw knowledge and guidance even from flipping a coin, if one approaches it through intuitive interpretation.
Anyway, I just express my beliefs, not to argue them against others'.

When I read or watch something, or evaluate an experience or a perception that attracted my attention, I look beyond the message and the facts; I intuitively interpret them as deeply as I can, considering the message or the facts as symbols intended to convey knowledge and guidance for me specifically.
Yes I agree with what you are saying. It is definitely not possible to receive accurate authentic channelled information through the filters of the ego, for reasons you mentioned.
I have concluded that, in this case, the background story regarding where the text came can be fundamentally disregarded, and in fact is largely irrelevant. The text itself however is worthy of further examination in its own right. .
When it comes to channelled material of the type found on Youtube for example, not that I listen to them usually, it is impossible to be sure of the identity and authenticity of the entity it is supposedly channelled from, many are imagined, and others are low Astral or etheric entities who claim to be any higher being to be taken seriously. The only way to be absolutely sure is by the accuracy of the information being channelled. That said, there are one or two I have listened to that I am satisfied are genuine.

Alex's experiences' description in the opening post has commonalities with some of my altered states experiences.
This is an unedited copy of journal record I made some time ago:
QuoteCountdown 10 ... 1; special place cottage basement, chose to project through door "Astral Plane". Asked K to assist me on my experience. Opened door.. Misty, nothing to worry about, somewhat inviting, grayish. Stepped in. I realized I left my body behind; I knew it was asleep in my bed. Looked down on me: I didn't have a body; no hands. A little later I realized there is something, of undefined form, as my body, transparent.
K explained it was created by my ingrained belief that I come with, that I have a body. Gradually I began to see some luminous orbs, of small dimension, that I would say were about a head's size, the color of an incandescent bulb, kind of yellowish, brownish, whitish. All seemed pretty much alike. Moving playfully, not fast.
K said I can communicate with them, I can see them in whatever form and environment I want, because I create the forms. Communication, and all perception were instantaneous, internal, then I interpret them to perceive them in the manner convenient to me. I didn't communicate with others. It was like I was explained what this "astral plane" is, likely by K, telepathically.
I told my subconscious a few times that I want to recall the experience well when I wake up. This was one of the many, infinite number, of astral planes on which identities project to experience. To operate on it, I have to discover what are the basic assumptions of that plane, pretty much as a newborn (even from the womb) does it; including the internal perception that he then materializes through his senses; to perceive according to the ingrained knowledge, beliefs, experiences that he comes with.
On that plane, there are available an infinite number of stories to learn from, to choose from, to explore. You can know those stories as an observer, or you can get immersed in them to whatever degree you want, or involuntarily slip into them. They are already written, and especially when you are going through the first stories on that plane, you follow them as they are, like reading books.
There are guides who assist you in what you choose, how much you get immersed. Later you can, if you want to, creatively change the story you follow, to change its course, according to what you'd like to see "what if", or according to preference. One life is made of many stories.
At some point I perceived that a number of rigid layers accumulate on top of each other, practically reducing the "space" I could maneuver in. I wasn't interacting, as an orb, with anybody directly, but could communicate internally, instantaneously.
I was told, by K (?), that the accumulation of layers, and reduction in possibilities is a reflection of experiencing relatively random stories, with no real growth. I have always, at any moment of the experience on that plane, the choice to leave for another plane, just based on preference.
At any moment, too I can re-orient my whole experience to learn with a place to grow, to make conscious, meaningful choices of the stories, and in working with them, both in the degree of immersion, of how creatively deal with them.
In this experience, when squeezed by the accumulated layers, I chose to discard them, and continue from what seemed useful, learning more constructively, as much as I felt that is still to learn, not for the sake of that plane, to continue until I decide, guided too, to move on.
Don't recall if I fell asleep, or if there was more that I don't recall. All the time, occasionally, I recalled that I am connected to a physical body that sleeps. There were moments during the experience when I felt an itch, heard a noise, needed to change position, to which my physical body reacted accordingly, without my identity's intervention, it continuing its experience on the "astral plane" projection, but being aware of those physical body reactions.
Thoughts (K) about last night experience: The color of the orbs was also like a candle flame; this might have a significance, as that a connection could also be made with the hollow around their heads in the saint's representations.
It seems that the physical experience isn't to test your learning, as much as for observing, interpreting, drawing knowledge and guidance.
Maybe this is the significance of the knowledge I got a few days ago that the biggest limiting belief I have is that I believe that I need to find what to do; that should be replaced with that I can do anything I want.
