I started out w/Robert Monroe's technique in "Journeys out of the Body" (not exactly like it).I projected out, & flew into the sky.It was supposed to be a 100% chance of rain, but in the OBE the sky was sunny w/cumulus clouds here & there, & when I woke up & looked out the window, that's EXACTLY how it was-no overcast skies, & no rain at all.I really wasn't expecting this! Anyhow, I flew around for a few minutes, having a great time seeing the snow covered foothills below, & flying around the clouds. Then I flew into space, aiming for the moon, which was off to my right.I went way too fast, & overshot it somehow.I looked back to find the Earth & make my way back, but it was gone-I was totally lost in deep space, so I ended the OBE.
Then I had an astral projection, & an unfortunate incident w/an OBE "hitchhiker" clinging to my back.It had me in a cage of some sort & was siphoning energy out of my head!
It took me a long time to get out of the projection.I fought to wake up for at least 5-10 minutes, & woke up tired. :x
Great experience overall.I tried again this morning, but nothing happened.
Very Interesting and disturbing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tell me how successful are you and how long it took you to learn AP????

I've been projecting on & off for about 16 years, (& still feel kinda like a beginner).Initially, when I was about 15, I think it took me about two weeks between first trying to project, & actually succeeding.I've been going through a LONG dry spell (months) for the past little while-I don't always succeed in projecting when I try to.
I have trouble projecting to the RTZ when I want to. :?
