Hello everyone! I just had a very wacky experience that makes me not so inclined to attempt to have an experience again.

I haven't attempted to project in a few weeks, and I thought that I should give it another shot today. I plugged in my headphones and began listening to the one hour binaural beats soundtrack that I usually listen to. I began my meditation and relaxation exercises at 1:24 pm. I know this because I always make note of when I start and end. I performed a very simple relaxation technique that involves tightening and relaxing the limbs while passing a ball of energy and light throughout the body. At about twelve minutes in, I got vibrations and visual hallucinations such as colors and repeating images, as I usually do. And then, everything after I do not remember.

What I DO remember....is "Waking up" in my bed with the beats sounding very loud in my ears. I was sweating, felt feverish, and was very very dizzy. I don't recall waking up, but rather the minutes AFTER waking up. It's very blurry looking back on it. I took of the headphones, and for some reason, I can't quite remember why, but I put them back on for a second. The sound continued coming from the headphones. Seemingly disturbed by this, I remember putting them back down. It was then when I really gained lucidity. I looked at the clock. 3:05. I thought to myself, oh I just fell asleep. Well, I realized, it wouldn't have been possible for the beats to still have been playing. Upon regaining lucidity I felt very off balance and nauseous.

I rushed downstairs to the bathroom, and after feeling better, I realized I was alone in the house. On my laptop was a note that said that my mother and brother had gone to the pool. Now, knowing my mother she probably came into my room and tried to wake me up to let me know that she was going. She always does. I'll have to ask her if she tried before she left when she gets back.

I'm very shook up, quite confused, and not feeling well at all. What the hell just happened?

Hey, you gotta be cool with those binaurals, they do have the ability to be pretty damn intense. I'd suggest that whenever you use them that you're not extremely fatigued, starving, or overly anxious/stimulated. Just lay on a flat and sturdy surface, relax deeply, and remain indifferent to any experience that arises as a result of the sound waves.

Alright. I've been sick lately so maybe it took a toll on me. Thanks for the advice.
