yea.

your problem is that you're overly focused on the body.  the reason "sleep paralysis" is a misleading term (besides the fact that you aren't inducing sleep paralysis, but that's a different talk for a different thread, plus it's been done a million times already) is because it leads you to think that all you need to concern yourself with is your body and not your mind.  learning to narrow your awareness of the physical is crucial.  my best advice is that once you have reached this state you call "sleep paralysis", allow yourself to move towards sleep.  you need your awareness to be almost gone.  you want to have a very thin thread of consciousness, where you're aware but you can't really act, you're just kind of there.  once you get to that point (and it will feel really different from normal awareness) then you can do your exit techniques.  upon 'exiting' your awareness will return.

i think that people expect to remain fully conscious through the whole experience because of the vividness and realness of what people describe their astral adventures to be.  though, even in phasing you have to let your awareness kind of drift away.  it's almost like you're tricking your body into thinking your mind is asleep so it will let go.  i don't really think that's whats happening, but it gives you the idea.  anyway, you need to be sooo deep in trance that you're almost asleep.  it's called walking the border between wake and sleep.  it's in this borderland state that you can easily exit the body.  as soon as you do exit though, your full awareness (in fact, usually sharper) will return.

On my last attempt of phasing I tried and tried for about wo hours just being flat on my bed, I would get in and out of awareness but nothing happened. I said oh well maybe some other time, so I laid on my side and in a few minutes I started feeling the vibrations and I had a nice phaisng. I think that when we're expecting it to happen so bad it just won't, I let go of my mind and it just happened.

I think that once in SP just enjoy the moment without expecting anything and you will soon see whatever is happening will intensify. In my case I don't even try to do the roll out, or any technique, I just let it happen and once the vibrations are very intense I just faintly lift my awareness and a phaisng usually occurs, bt I know that once I have SP or vibrations take over that something will happen.
