Helper entities?

Something strange happened to me last night... well it's been happening on and off for years and I don't know what to make of it.

So I lay down and I'm trying to get to sleep. It's about 2 AM (I'm a night owl).

I'm not even drowzy or half-asleep yet when I sense something in the room. All of a sudden I get flooded with intensity. It was like a dark piece of space that just got louder and louder (if you can imagine that.)

This thing or power in my room got so intense that I started getting scared. Suddenly my energy body becomes lucid and starts sticking up for itself. I rise from my body to meet this power head on. It was tough because it had me almost pinned down in paralasys.

So I'm finally out of my body... I start looking for the source of this thing. I can feel the space around me charged with the heaviness of intensity.

I looked all around my room but couldn't find anything. Then something starts spinning me around. I look down at my left arm and there is this white orb kind of stuck to it. I tell it to go away! But it's not really attacking me or being negative. It's just there spinning me around almost in an impersonal way.

Finally I wake up back in my body wondering what the heck that thing is.

It's happened to me before. Sometimes I hear this thing making animal sounds when it comes for me. Like a duck, like a squirrel, like a chirping. I don't know what it is. I don't think its bad because it's helped me many times jump start my astral travels when I've been energetically drained. What is it you think??

My opinion?
You fell asleep and woke up OBE.

Thought = direct action...
All of this started with a feeling, which was the last thing on your mind as you unknowingly fell asleep.
While asleep, you went OBE and the emotional/thought loop began.

To stop this kind of thing from happening in the future you need a stricter grasp on your thought/emotions/expectation/judgments.

This "thing" has also massaged my navel chakra from my backside and helped me get out as well. It didn't hurt much but it felt like someone had their hand on my back and was infusing it with energy.

Personally... I think it's a nature Guardian. I spent a lot of time in the woods and have a few Guardians that helped me out in my waking life. Maybe they are here to finish my schooling... ? The sounds it makes are so "wild" too.

I was reading about your neg example, Freddy.  I had a dream where I saved him once.. it was so pitiful.. lol he was scared of the large mob outside.  Even evil negs need love too.

Well... has anyone ever had a moth experience?

They are the Guardians of Eternity along with all the other Nature guardians.  It's that playful baby deer in the forest, that bumblebee playing around you, that dragonfly thrilling by. But the Guardians also have their wrathful aspect like Padmasambhava.  The Diamond Vajra.

The moth is the Guardian of the center - LLL^center^RRR - and chooses some people to teach all her secrets too. I know that's what it is really... but it seems to impossibly amazing when "it happens".

I had an experience (not paranormal) with a moth yesterday, so seeing this post today sort of tickled me.
It was mundane but different.  A moth lighted on my car as we were going to do some errands throughout the day- it was orange, with yellow antenna.  Now I have never seen a salmon-orange colored moth before, so I was watching it as it held on to the right-side mirror, where it stayed for two or three of the stops we were doing.  At some point it opened up one of it's wings and it's backside (or tail, or whatever you call it) was a beautiful sapphire blue, almost like a jewel tone.  So the moth stayed with the car until our last stop (which was very challenging) and then took off to the nearest tree.
I didn't think of it at all until I saw this post- it just occurred to me that the moth hung out with us for most of the day, in a very cool way.

Yeah man... moths are really cool Guardians.

I mean... animals are real - they're physical. I guess they could definately be a phenomena created by my mind or something... well whatever but I do believe that each animal is unique and can teach us things about the "Force". That's really what I'm into.

I believe that Nature holds the keys to unlocking our own mysteries. It doesnt have to be all about me. I fit into Nature just like all the animals do.

I go out into the forest almost everyday. I've had moths sing to me. It's the most beautiful sound I have ever heard. Their chirps come from some place so deep, rich, and beautiful that you know you're One with the cosmos.

I had a moth sing to me for a really long time once. It took me so high that I was seeing the energies of the insides of trees. It was like a mass of violet tenticles spreading upwards and feeling the sky.

So... that's why I like moths.

Here's an interesting take on the paranormal aspect of butterflies. I believe moths fit in as well. I think Castaneda (or don juan) mentions moths.
