hi, i've been into astral projection for the past few months and just recently got back into trying to project again, last night was my first good attempt i believe. i was trying the Robert Bruces ROPE method. I was lying in my bed with my arms crossed at the wrist, i was climbing the ROPE when i started feeling this pulsing sensation around the area of my chest and where my arms were crossed. My question is what was that pulsing? was it anything at all?

That's actually a very good symptom. Next time try to 'go with it' time your attempts to get out with the pulsing (if it's slow enough) if not, then let the vibration carry you away. :meditate:
I have also had many sensations as such. infact, I was lying in bed lastnight when the same happened to me, unfortuantely I didnt go woth it, i freaked out a bit, which spoiled the whole thing:(

hi, thanks for all the info, ya when i did feel the pulsing it think i wasn't expecting it and then i couldn't concentrate at all, it felt like all these thoughts came in. that was probably my first actual good attempt at projecting.
