Helen,

First off, congratulations!  Welcome back to the astral clubhouse!

I wanted to ask you.....did you manage to project without any break in consciousness?  In other words, did you simply lay down, go through your relaxation and focusing techniques, and then phase directly into the astral realm?

Or did you lose cpnscious a little (as what happens to me when I fall asleep) only to wake up sometime later and find yourself able to project that way?

  TO JEFF_MASH--------I DO NOT THINK I BROKE MY  CONSCIOUSNESS BECAUSE THE HOT DRINK ON MY BEDSIDE TABLE WAS DRUNK BY MYSELF ON RETURNING------IT WAS STILL WARM AND LESS THAN 20 MINUTES HAD PASSED ON MY TABLE CLOCK--------IT WENT LIKE THIS:LAY ON MY BED ON TOP OF MY DUVET-RELAXED ALL MY BODY TELLING MYSELF MENTALLY NOT TO BE FEARED AS THAT IS THE ONLY HANGUP FOR ME------THEN--UNABLE TO MOVE-------VIBRATING--BUZZING--A GENTLE LIFTING SENSATION--ABLE TO SEE THROUGH EYE LIDS----THEN UP AND LIFTED OUT SAW MY SELF LAY ON MY BED------SOMETHING WAS ATTACHED TO ME (ON THE BED)FROM MY STOMACH AREA TO MY ASTRAL STOMACH----IT WAS WHITE AND PRETTY AND LONG LIKE A ROPE-------I KNEW IF I MOVED FURTHER AWAY THE ATTACHMENT WOULD SEVER BUT I WANTED TO GET BACK IN JUST TO PROVE TO MYSELF THAT I HAD SUCCEEDED AND WAS NOT ACTUALY DYING BECAUSE THE FEELING WAS AS IF I WAS IN HEAVEN(MY HEAVEN ANY-WAY)--------NO OTHER FEELING COMES NEAR TO WHAT I FELT AND NOBODY WILL EVER CONVINCE ME THAT WHAT HAPPENED WAS NOT AS IT SEEMED-------SHEAR BLISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS---------thanks Jeff for the reply-------and i will keep you posted----------Helen

(And just so you know that "intent" DOES work, even though I'm a so-called "spontaneous projector" my OBE activity increases the more I think about OBE . . . . proof that although my OBE'S seem involuntary, they are not.  In fact, when I go a few weeks/months without an OBE, sometimes all I have to do is wonder why I haven't been having them, and then I'll have one that very night!)

I remember my first OBE - until I discovered that the vibrations/paralysis I experienced every Monday I took a nap before starting my night-shift job was the gateway to an OBE I used to struggle and panic to move my physical body.
When the paralysis occured after first reading Monroes book I just thought 'get up' and suddenly was standing up. I thought I was still awake in the physical so I decided to jump up and then I floated to the ceiling then down again.
I bounced around the bedroom for a couple of minutes before I decided to return to the body then instantly I awoke back in the physical.
Although I've had a few decent OBE's since then, the clarity of the first time out has never been matched.
I know how ecstatic you must feel Helen
I take it you'll now be trying for more OBE's ASAP?
I've started using the BWGEN files to hopefully kick start my astral night-life again.
