Risu no Kairu

I think most of the time, when it says there's a guest, it's just a regular member who hasn't logged in. I know I do that all the time. When I get rid of all my cookies and I visit the board, if I don't have anything to post, why bother logging in?

Helen,

Out of curiousluty, WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING?  http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>  Usually when a person talks with their Caps Lock key turned on, it means they're shouting or mad at about something.  Just wanted to inform you of that, since everytime I see one of your posts, I think you're ticked off (that is, until I read what you're saying).

Keep smiling,

To Jeff_Mash--------shouting out of shear lazziness, cannot be bothered putting in my contact lences most of the time so find it better to see capital letters on the screen, got them in now though-------but I still find capital letters more appealing-----------also Jeff I am far too blizzfull at this present time to be p****d off with any-one,apart from the fact that I find it hard to become annoyed in the first place.
Also I am gratefull for your input into my shouting as it has made me  more aware of my actions while using my p.c and the possible unwanted impressions that I may be giving to any other club member,promise-------no more un-needed shouted---cheers Jeff
And yes I will keep smiling --thanks for reading my stuff and replying Helen.

Tisha

to delete your cookies: goto the "c:\windows\cookies" directory and delete everything. at least, i think that is how to do it. anyone else have anything to add?

as for spyware, don't worry about it.

Secret of Secrets

Cookies: With internet explorer, go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options. General options appear first and in the middle of the window there is a section called temporary internet files. You can delete your cookies there.

Spyware: This has the program I use - http://www.lavasoft.de/
I actually paid to register my copy.

Antiviral and firewall software are good to have, too. Norton Internet Security 2002 works well for me at home.

Logging in is a good thing. Seeing familiar names logged in at the same time makes adding posts more likely.

Hi Tom,
the info regarding-------cookies and spyware was well apreciated, thankyou ,I,m sure that Tisha will find it helpfull and I know that I will--------cheers,Helen.

i think tom covered cookies but as for anti spyware Ad-aware is probably the best around. its free but i cant remember the site.

the best free firewall i have found is zone alarm. www.zonelabs.com

hope that helps
