This is the second time this has happened.

I go lay down to practice phasing. I will reach a light F10, then drift off into sleep. Sometime during this I will become lucid. I start to fly around, etc etc.

But somethings not right. I am not in control. That is, thought =\= action. Now first I thought that i was simply dreaming. It only seemed like i had control in retrospect. But then this happened again last night. This time, out of frustration at not being able to control my reality, i simply closed my eyes to hopefully change my environment, and i lost lucidity. As in i dont remember what happened when I opened my eyes.

Is this progress or just a more aware dream? Any comments/tips? Thanks in advance :D

It can be really frustrating when you can't get the clarity to maintain control. I've had this happen myself - usually I found myself drifting at funny angles with my legs up in the air.

On the few occasions recently where I have found myself out and about but with fading lucidity - I mentally shout 'clarity now!' (a technique I picked up from one of my AP books. It usually snaps me back in to focus.
