Hey guys so last night which was December 26, approximately 12:30 am. I decided i wanted to lucid dream, so i started to listen to some Binaural beats and i woke up listening to Metallica XD around 1:15. So i went back to sleep without any music. I had a dream with many false awakenings, and the last false awakening i went back to sleep and for some odd reason i felt strong vibrations instantly! I started to float up, and ended up in an area where EVERYTHING WAS MINECRAFT!!!! LOL it had happened because i was affirming myself that i wanted to dream in a superflat minecraft setting. It was wonderful flying around, just somthing i cant put into words... so after exploring i hear this whirring sound in my ear and the all of a sudden im in this place where theres this giant wierd pyramid thing twisting around, and it looked like a bad minecraft graphics glitch. then i woke upto the sound of my little brother peeing lol... wow, just wow... amazing

Cool. I'm not really sure. I think astrla projection and lucid dreams can be closely related. I've had some of my astral projections turn into more so dream like states toward the end.

That's really cool though. :) I played minecraft for awhile. I like seeing people's creations. Maybe it was a projection but you projected a lot of your love of the setting of minecraft out into it and that's what you got xD

To me, it depends upon how consciously aware you were.  How close to a 'waking awareness' did you have?

If you felt like you were totally awake and aware like you are right this second, then you had what I call an "astral awareness" which is an astral projection.
If you felt like you weren't completely totally awake and aware like you are right this second... like you knew you were non-physical but didn't really have a waking awareness, then you had what I call a "lucid awareness".

The only difference between a lucid dream and an astral projection (or any other non-physical experience for that matter) is YOU... your consciousness and the awareness it holds while having the experience.  :)

So knowing this, you should be able to answer your own question now.

That's the best way to answer a question Xanth. I guess, now you got the answer of your question Patrick. Hope this will help you to find out that it was a astral projection or a lucid dream.
