weird dream i had a couple years ago..

I posted this under dreams but I think it could fit under here too



OK about 6 or 7 years ago I had an OBE from my dream....

I still remember it perfect...
while I was sleeping (wasnt lucid) This guy asked me a question...as I was about to answer, then his eyes grew wide as I went to answer him I blurted it out and as I was yelling it, I acually come out of my body and just screamed! I was only out for like maybe 5 seconds and I went straight back to sleep into my body

there is no way this wasnt an "OBE" because I could see my Dad Sitting On The Couch watching T.V next to me..


Could this dream mean anything?
If so what does this mean???
and how did this dream trigger such a Obe?

Astr0Man,

congratulations on the resurfacing of an important memory. Five seconds is perfectly normal for these events, especially the first few times we consciously experience them. Why they start off being so short, I'm not sure. Can you remember how you felt, surprised, scared etc (you said you screamed)?

As for interpreting the dream, can you remember the question? Why was your answer so enthusiastic?

Well i appriciate your reply 

And i wasnt mad or anything be my "screaming" but i felt as if a strong force was keeping me back in my body, you know??

And Yes! i do remember the question:  He was basically asking me a simple elemantary question, isnt that odd?

My answer wasnt meant to be yelled or enthisiastic, so idk why this happend 

Do you think there is a meaning?
My dream wasnt lucid, but back then probly almost every dream i had was lucid    wish i could do that still lol
