Hey.

So you just listen to the sound?

WHOOPS
I failed to mention the most important part.

Do it when you go to bed at night.
Turn on the water to a fast drip, or turn on your ceiling fan on high to get the pull chain swinging- then fall asleep listening to the "ding ding ding."

It wakes me up out of my body nearly every time.

I read that it has something to do with a fast repatitive rythm.

Thanks. :)

Hmmm...  sounds a little....  ´easy´...  but there might be something to falling asleep to different sounds.  The only time I have woken up and having vibrations all over me, was when I had my "watersounds"- CD (should be called "wavesound" because that is all that is on) on pretty loud when trying to project, I fell asleep but as I said woke up an hour or two later with the CD set on repeat still on, "vibrating".
Of course waking up feeling the vibrations could have to do with me trying to project just one or two hours earlier, but it´s kind of a coincidence that it happened when I had that CD on (almost never have any "sounds on" during projecting attempts) ....  I don´t think it is very good to get usedto outer conditions to be able to project, but since I never yet succeeded projecting I´ll try the wave CD a few more times, and perhaps one of Leyla´s sounds - hell I might even turn up the heat and test the "sweat method" (or maybe not ;)

Scientists hav conducted many experiments that explain why
repetitve sounds help you exit your body.

They Discovered that if people work and think while there is a loud
clock ticking somewhere in the room and then they sleep with that
clock on then they will intensively think in their sleep.

If you hear the chain klanking in "the back of your head" when you
go about your business in your room than when you sleep your
brain will tune into that sound and assume the same level of activity that
is present when youre awake.

Your method of OBE is probably the most scientific one of all http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile.gif" border=0>

What gets me out of my body in a hurry:

The sound of a repetitive bell. The pull-chain of the ceiling fan 'ding-ding-dinging' against the light fixture has worked for me with near 100% success for years. Like a shamans repetitive drum beat.

Also if you leave the water on a fast drip against a tin pan the 'ping ping ping' will do it.

Also- if I'm hot/sweaty at night I tend to leave my body.

I'm also going to try the 'interrupted sleep' method out.
