During most of my recent APs, I haven't really managed to access the astral planes. I often end up lapsing into a dream, indeed, even when I leave my body, I do so in a dream state and the RTZs seem more like dreamscapes than physical reality! As a result, my recent APs have been pretty dull!

A couple of times recently, I've managed to realise I'm having a lucid dream and have then purposefully stopped the dream and the storyline. Both times - this resulted in me being instantaneously propelled forwards at an intense speed and travelling like this for quite a long time. The second time it happened, I was in a psychedelic tunnel!!! I haven't yet managed to travel to anywhere yet though!

I've tried saying things like 'take me where I need to go' but it hasn't really provided good results.

Also, I'd really like to contact my deceased father but every time I've asked for that, I've ended up with a mental projection of him.

Any tips??

What was at the end of the "Psychedelic Tunnel? Did you hold on long enough to find out?

Here's the last questions, you state that you keep lapsing into a Dream state even when you leave you body, then you say it seems more like Dreamscapes than the Astral.

Exactly what does the Astral look like? What are your expectations?

The Astral is not like this physical reality.

I'm sure if you did, then would have found yourself in a very unique place, full of adventures and things you could have explored.

I always begin my exploration, with my intended "safe zone", which in my case is a very tranquil beach setting.

Many times I will just walk around there and explore and many times I find something askew, like perhaps a doorway just in front of a large rock formation. This will then be my chance to explore. I open the door and follow it to the other side. This is where my intent ends ands the real adventure begins.

When I first started to Phase consciously aware, I had created my tranquil beach sense, when all of a sudden my wife's deceased Brother-in, who I had the utmost respect for, walked towards me. He became a mentor/teacher/guide to me for awhile during my earlier visits, but then just kind of disappeared.

I did not create any intent to see him, nor was he on my mind at that time. He just showed up there and rekindled our friendship.

He had passed on about 5 years previous to this.
