New OBE Experience

So I've been going through sort of a dry spell for OBE's and lucid dreams in general.  During this time I have had between 2 and 4 exits using the rollout method, all of which ended within only a few seconds.  I had no vision in any of this exits, and I believe they ended so shortly because I was actually trying to physical open my eyes, because I would wake up back in my body with my eyes slightly open.  Upon my next exit, I told myself that I needed to find some way to distance myself from my physical body in order to gain my astral vision.  So after slightly waking up from a dream, vibrations hit me and I felt my legs lift up and move toward the side of the bed and the rest of my body followed, so it was like I was sitting up on the side of my bed.  Now in this position, the wall to outside is about 2 feet right in front of me, so I just fell forward to try and get outside.  Low and behold, this worked like a charm, I went through the wall, was outside and my vision followed soon thereafter.  

At this point I was floating about 40 feet in the air and was very surprised at how real and consistent the outside environment looked compared to physical matter reality (it never has before).  So I was just flying over everything for what seemed like a few miles and eventually came back down to the ground in a field and I could see off in the distance a lone house by the edge of the woods.  My main goal of this out of body experience was to leave the RTZ and enter the Astral Plane.  I've read that mirrors can be used as portals to do this so I told myself that their had to be a mirror somewhere at this building.  So I got up to it, and there was a mirror right on the outside of the house.  I stared into it looking at my reflection, and it looked just like me, maybe when I was a bit younger, I'm 25 now but it looked more like me when I was about 19.  

Anyway, I jumped straight through this mirror expecting it to take me somewhere and all that happened was me entering the house lol.  Inside seemed very empty but there was a man and woman there.  I received a stare from the man and a smile from the woman, no words were spoken and I left very shortly after that.  After I left it starts getting hazy I remember trying to fly again and I couldn't and the next thing I remember is waking up back in my body.  

All in all it was a knew and exciting experience for me, any thoughts?

I just remembered something from the out of body experience.  When I jumped through the mirror it was light outside, and I entered the house and see the man and woman.  When I left and got out of the house it was dark outside and there was shed next to the house (wasn't there before) with weird looking things crawling on it and I fell down, and there seemed to be a lot of these bug type things.  They were probably like 6 inches long and different than anything I've ever seen in physical matter reality.  Is it possible that I actually did enter the astral plane but just didn't realize it?  I can't believe I'm just recalling this now.

Here is an idea if you are looking for things to do OBE. The next time you have an OBE you might try to visit Astral Pulse Island (API). You can read more about the experiment in the special API forum here. API is considered part of the Astral plane, albeit a special place specifically created by some Astral Pulse members a few years ago as a location to meet up OOB and verify/confirm one anothers experiences.

I'd have no clue how to get there is this attempt didn't work trying to get to the island seems a lot more difficult.
