Wow I can't believe how fast you guys replied, thank you so much[] I'll try to keep it a bit neater this time.

   Anyway's about what I was listening to. When I first started, I listened to hemi-sync tapes. I used a number of them but certain ones more than others.

   Here are some of the ones I used when I'd lay down for a....astral session???Hemisync-Holosync Oasis(Theta), binaural sun - goodnite, penguin, and Hemi-sync - Third eye meditation to name a few.The one I think that had the most effect was New Age - Meditation - (Chakra System), mostly because this is the one I was listening to before I had the vibrations.

   I am still in shock from what happened to me 2 hours ago from posting this article. I didn't even succeed but what I did experience was something i've never experienced before.

   Anyway's thank you for the replies and if anyone has any questions about anything, or just wants to chat don't hesitate. I am blown away by this more than you could ever imagine[:O] And I haven't even really done it fully yet!O and the ghost sound I mentioned happened when the vibrations started, i kinda got ahead of myself on that one[]

Ur such a sweetheart Nay[]. It's nice to get a positive response from someone who sounds as though they were just as enthused as I am now when they started.

I am sure everyone who has gotten close to this or is trying hard with it is just as excited as I am now, and I say to all you people, "don't give up no matter what" I kinda think that if I can do that anyone can!

I think something that helped me greatly(and if anyone else did something similar please share) was when I started, I would tell myself "Jay this is weird, you are about to try something totally out of this world".

It's kinda like I would let my mind get freaked out over what was going to happen. I'm not really sure how to explain this, but it's as if though my mind got into the reality that this was going to happen.

Of coarse reading about vibrations, loud ringing or yelling(in my case somewhat of a stereo typical ghost howelling), and signs to look for like that really helped me to.

So keep a positive attitude and tell yourself you can do it, even if you've never done it before. Let your mind keep thinking about things like:"This is kinda freaky, but I'm not scared", or "I wonder what it will be like when I do achieve this".

I guess what i'm saying is just try not to be so skeptical(if you are), because as henry ford said "If you think you can do it or if you think you can't do it, either way you're right", i think thats how it goes.

Good day all, I am probably one of your newest members. I have been trying to have an out of body expeience for only 2 weeks(thats how long i've been interested in it). For a while i thought it was crazy the talk about leaving your body, but boy was i wrong. It was about 7pm and i decided to try some of the meditation and hemi-sync tapes i downloaded from kazaa(along with all the helpful info i got from this forum god love it) I listened to the tapes for about a half hour and got very tired, i figured i'd just take a nap, and since i sleep on my side i decided to take off the headphones. I lay their expecting a nap, suddenly i am in a faint dream where a women is on the phone and it is for me, so i take the phone and she tries to ask me something but keeps studering when she gets to the meat of the question. It kinda freaked me out(the old ladies voice) and then all of a sudden i fall out of the dream and realize that i am awake, all of a sudden i start getting the famous "vibrations" and boy are they ever!!! I thought i was having a heart attack for a sec but then i remembered some of the stuff i read, and that it was normal, i tried to go with them, at this point the ghost sound is super loud. And then BAM!! i feel myself floating upwards out of my body, but this being my first time i got so excited i lost it and went right back into my physical self. I had to share this with ppl that wouldn't think i was crazy, cause my family sure does. When i got up i was almost in tears, this was by far one of the most incredible things that has ever happened to me i feel so alive. This forum is considered to me one of the most valuable resources on the net for astral projection, i freakin love you guys and hope you welcome me as an active member to your forum. Sorry i just had to vent, i'm still shaking lol.
