A 3-Foot Crow?

This is my first OBE, or at least I believe it to be.  I've had many LDs in the past, and am skilled to the point of virtually LDing on will, so I decided to give OBEs a try.  I've done a lot of work with meditation in the past, so it only took me a few days to have my first small success.
I believe I had meditated for about a half-hour, when I could tell that my body had fallen asleep, so I began to trance.  I focused only on the mantra, "I will OBE," and the location of my friend's upstairs.  I have a few reasons for choosing that location, but to make a long story short, if anything interesting's going to happen, it'll probably be around this friend.
After about fifteen to twenty minutes of trancing, I started seeing flashes of my friend's upstairs, and my head began to vibrate.  Soon, my head began to lift up, then another body part would vibrate and lift up.  I never read about it happening limb by limb, rather then all at once, so I found that interesting.
By the time I was completely upright, my vision had faded into my bedroom, but then that went into a tunnel effect and I showed up in my friend's upstairs.
My memory becomes a little unclear around here, because I didn't wake up when this was finished.  I went straight to sleep when it was done.  However, I can remember it fairly well.  I just wanted to give warning that this last bit may be off a bit.
I walked up to my friend's room.  I saw something at the tip of his bed, which I soon realized to be a 3-feet tall crow or raven.  I realized this when I stepped into the room, and it flew at me.  It didn't hurt when it pecked at my face, as I remember it.  However, I did fall backwards through the banister, into the stair well.
I noticed a short, bald man, downstairs.  He was very nervous, and walking around rather quickly.  I walked back up the stairs a bit, then jumped the banister to be in front of my friend's room yet again.
I walked in and the crow got rather agitated.  This time, I had time to put my hand up to block my face.  When the crow flew at me, it evaporated into black smoke upon collision with some sort of barrier I'm guessing I made instinctively when I raised my hand.
So, do the people who managed to read it all agree it's an OBE?  If it was just a dream, I'll keep working, but it's tough to believe it wasn't.  I've had so many LDs, and even though there were ones more vivid than real life, there were none like this.  None where there was no feeling that I was creating this, where it felt like I was perceiving it.  Also, normally I have so much more control in LDs, and I feel pain in LDs, but didn't in this.  It was like starting all over again.

Well, since I've received no comments or replies to whether this was an OBE or not, I'll bring attention back to this post with a bit of a bump and add an update.  I talked to my friend, and if I understood him correctly, he mentioned that he had a dream that night about a giant crow killing his parents.  Maybe this could help someone have an opinion on my experience. :)
