Title: I need some help!

About a month ago I had my "first" conscious astral projection (this is debatable, as I believe I have memories of leaving my body when I was a young child). It didn't last long at all, but I could see my astral body and the room I was in. I've had a couple of experiences before this, but they've usually occurred when I was asleep, so I would sort of "wake up" in my astral body mid-projection.
Anyway, since that experience, I've had trouble getting out at all. The vibrations begin, but soon fade away and I'm left attempting to start them again. Usually I have no trouble with triggering the vibrations, but now it's a serious effort. I've tried all sorts, guided meditation, binaural beats, the "rope" technique (usually best for me), and the tried and true "floating upwards".

I think I may just be in an astral "dry spell", and I'd love some advice on how to break it.

maybe its just false truths that you "know" that are holding you back

know that you are not "in" your body to start with
your mind is a giant sphere that covers all reality's

if you can even imagine yourself in another room or on the roof then you can do it
all you need to do is loose awareness of your physical body

so next time you meditate use your imagination to ground your focus away from your physical
this active meditation is better than just waiting for something to happen

you create your own reality anyways so don't be afraid to use your imagination to connect you to the reality where you OBE

You could be trying too hard and that may be the reason.  Try not to aim for the vibrational stage because a lot of times we ap without getting the vibrations.  Try to not think about ap, just let yourself relax and let it happen.
