I see with my eyes closed, need advice

On several occasions in the past three years, I have been able to see with my eyes closed. This happens usually just after waking up, especially after a nap. The vision has a much wider angle than normal vision. It lasts less than a minute.

How can I develop it?

Is it an indication I have a particular natural ability to achieve an unusual skill of some kind?

And, no guesses please, anyone know for sure what causes this and maybe how to use it in some way with my efforts to astral project or towards any other skill?

edit: this may or may not be relevant to what I described, but since a teenager I've had clairvoyant dreams also hundreds, probably thousands, of significant coincidences, clairvoyant I guess you call it. This would be on the order of several incidences every week for decades.

Hi Shokan.
I know exactly what you are saying and have had the same experiences. Mine were in the 1960's so its a looong time ago. Thing is you dont forget any of it too.
The all round vision is normal and you are actually projecting while you have it. You need to imagine you're a ghost or similar and get away from your sleeping body by 40 feet or more. This will be so easy as you can go through walls without any trouble. Just know you're in a ghost like form and the walls are basically a hologram. They only feel solid if you THINK they are.
Everything is thought controlled and you will have experienced this by now.
The clairvoyant dreams I know too well. Do you get locked in?
Is the emotional side active too?
If so you have my sympathies. There's a way out of it that overlaps into the physical.
It all depends on your experiences. PM me if they are too emotionally involved, I can help.

There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

I have no idea what to work on, given those very occasional incidences of seeing with eyes closed. Should I just continue working on phase (like Michael Raduga teaches, waking up without moving etc.)  Or, maybe something like a third eye development meditation? I don't know. Gotta do something.

It sounds to me like you are witnessing the shift back from non physical to physical or one reality to another.

Enjoy it.

Keep doing what you are doing and you will be shown how to progress further.

Trust in yourself!  :-)

You could also try to create an intended destination, like for instance your "happy place".

Thought = action in that state, so be an explorer and explore!

Keep going, you're doing fine. The method you suggested is the most successful. It will help you to get the feel of things step by step. Its a slow start then you'll recognise something and then progress much faster.
Stick with the waking and not moving a muscle thing. Make sure to try this for at least a month. It takes about 3 weeks to imprint it into your subconcious. Thats when the fun starts.
Dedication like a sportsman is required. It pays dividends in the end.

Thanks. Just curious, is there anything you did during the day in the beginning stages of your efforts that you think might have helped you? Like imagining rising up, flying or whatever when you happened to think of it while going about your daily business? Also, same question about right before falling asleep.

When you can see with your eyes open, you can spiritually get out of your body.  The first time it happened, I thought what do I do?  I thought get out of my body and that is what I did.

I've done this from my earliest memories. I used to go outside into the woods near home qnd fly around. I thought everyone did it. It took 4 years or so before I realised I was on my own. At 9 years old the RTZ started to be less travelled and astral realms opened up. What you've said is at the point where it all changed. The 360* thing had to be resolved first. Once mastered theres no looking back.

Too bad I didn't know about OBE at those times. Last time it happened was probably about one year ago.

Is there anything that one can do during the day to help with training with phase techniques, like imagining anything during the day? Or any supplemental practice such as deep relaxation a couple times during the day. Maybe affirmations of some kind about astral projection.

Do your best to remember what you did the day before. It may help you.
You should make a local safe place a target to go to.
Have a read, the idea is within.

Sorry, didn't get what you meant by remembering what I did the day before. You mean ordinary daily stuff? Or my efforts with not moving when waking (phase)? Whichever one, why?

Szaxx

The day before you had the experiences of 360* vision and being able to look around with your physical eyes closed. Was there anything different or even consistant each time you had an experience?
Things like your state of health, what you ate and importantly your sleeping position.
The sleeping position had an amazing connection to the type of experience I had in the early days.
It doesn't affect everyone but those it does progress really quickly.

This is a little off-topic here but I'll mention it anyway. First, I believe working on Third Eye opening will help me in any efforts with Astral Projection. Towards that end, I decided to try something that's pretty much out of the usual box for me.

I bought an amethyst and taped it to my third eye area, then listened to an audio that's supposedly good for helping with opening the third eye (pulsing tones overlaid with music and ocean waves). Not expecting anything new or unusual, I settled back and let it roll. I was pretty tired and started to fall asleep. Just at that moment, suddenly, a huge blue disc rimmed with silver appeared in my mind's eye. It startled me, woke me up fully, and disappeared.

Wild, eh? Maybe there really is something to all this crystal stuff.

edit: need to add that I've been listening to that 45-minute third eye audio daily for a couple months now.
