Intense feeling of vibrations... but only in my hands

Hi, I've been trying to astral project for a long time now, and the most I can get is vibrations in my hands.  I lay in a meditative state trying different techniques for about 20-30 minutes and then I start to feel these strong vibrations start in my fingers and eventually spread to a little past my wrists.  I've waited as long as an hour for the vibrations to spread to any farther or for any change, but I just keep feeling it in my hands forever.  They go away if I move.

Do I just need to wait another hour or two for these vibrations to spread?

It seems like a really long time to wait, and nothing changes at all.

Is this part of astral projecting?  If it is, what do I try to do next?

If anyone has any advice, or any experiences like mine,  please share.

Almost Solid

Hi,
You asked for a reply to the vibration problems you're having and I may be able to help you, but would have to know where you're coming from belief-wise. Not if you believe in Buddah, Jesus, etc., but whether you believe we are spirits living in a temporary form or the darwinian model that we are imaginative animals. I'll help any way I can based on my experiences.  Good luck either way,  Jim ~

P.S. I wouldn't mind seeing your research on public school if you feel like sharing. I don't know if it would be possible to find a publisher, but do think more people should expose the problem, so why not you?

who is this almost solid guy. is he insane? nice posts lmao

dude dont worry what you are experienccing happens all the time to lucid dreamers. if you are having trouble moving past the vibrations or getting them to move through your whole body (which is the first stages of sleep paralysis) try doing it after 5 hours of sleep. set an alarm for 5 hours after u go to sleep. wake up and stay up for an hour or 2 then go back to sleep doing WILD and then the vibrations will start faster and your eyes will begin to REM. then just imagine yourself going into the dream. thats the easiest way personally. it takes alot of practice.  you see the REM periods of sleep take a while to kick in which is why u said u wait 2 hours for projection to work and it still doesnt project you. well thats because your not waiting to project your waiting to lucid dream. so try my technique and see if the vibrations start faster for ya! or check out the tutorials page on www.dreamviews.com everything u wanna know is there

jay dawg,

I'm so glad you joined this forum, now you can enlighten all of us who all this time thought the world was round and AP's were real.  I'm so glad that you have all the answers we seek.

If you don't believe in AP or OBE's maybe you should stick to what you do know and not peruse this part of the forum?  Let the people who do believe wallow in our own little sense of reality.  K?
