I attempted to convert a lucid dream into a projection last night/this morning, also without success. I achieved some sort of hypnagogic-type state and had a brief mental conversation with myself. At some point I was aware of both the dream and my physical body (specifically, my hand balled into a fist and between my stomach and the bed). I'm not sure why I didn't succeed, but it was fun trying. As for your effort, you may have lacked enough energy to get all the way out, especially if you had partial consciousness of three separate states of being. Best of luck in the future!

I cant remember where i read about having a conscious separation by pulling yourself out during a lucid dream, but the idea popped in my head that night so i told my unconscious with priority status: "next time i have a lucid dream i want to change it to a rtz projection." This is what happened:

I woke up during a dream because i had been able to realize that where i was sitting in the dream was nowhere i had known before. As soon as i became lucid i remembered that i was going to try to get a conscious projection. In the dream i was sitting in a chair at the same time i reached out for my rtz body and tried to get up out of the chair and simutaneously get up out of my body in bed. Kind of using the feeling of getting up out of the chair with my lucid body would give some kind of momentum within the rtz body enough to get out was what i was thinking.

At that thought things got very very difficult, especially to move. It felt as if i were glued to both the chair and my physical body. It was incredibly tough to will myself out consciously. But i was able to get out enough to notice that i had awareness of my surroundings in both the lucid dream body and the rtz body and also very slight physical sensations. The basic feeling was that there was three me's with three separate minds all working at the same time in different environments, hence very freaky. In the end i wasnt able to keep up with the mental effort it took to make a transfer from lucid to rtz and the experience ended with the lucid ream ending and rtz body jolting back in the physical.

Anyone else try this method with success??
If you will it it is no dream.
