you cant touch things out of body, although you may think you're touching the couch - thats basically all it is (thought). Because you're thinking physically your etheric body automatically mimics your physical body and APPEARS to be on the couch and touching it.

yes you can manifest in OBE and touch a physical person or object. I have a few times. Manifesting is like taking on physical form but you really are an OBE.

I have seen astral persons pet my cats on the head, also able to hear them. there forms were of energy but clearly male.

When I first learned to OBE I always slept on the couch, this was a sleeper couch, metal springs. So if I wanted to remote view or OBE I would go sit or lay on this same couch. I noticed the direction where I layed my head had alot to do with my AP. not all OBE have experienced being able to enteract with a physical person, but from experience it is possible.

Seeing how this is my first post i'll explain my exp's. I have had a total of 3 in the past couple months. all the times were on my g/f's parents couch in the living room.

1) first time i got to feal the vibrations and an odd noise. At that time i tried to move but no good. I was quite able to look around infact i looked at the tv just so i had a reference at what time this happening.. well nothing special happend i realized i couldnt move so i tried to make breathing noises to get my g/f's attention.. but she ignored it thinking i was just breathing heavy, never even looked in my direction. closed my eyes and releaxed to get out.. got up and freaked out and my arms felt like they hurt from trying to move.. and my eyes were really blood shot, freaked the g/f out in the process.

2) next one was pretty neat but still not able to get up and move. i was laying on the couch with my legs on the arm rest. did my normal relaxing things i do. when i was aware of the point where i was in the "state" i again took note of what was on tv. super bowl was on go figure. The only thing i was able to feal my legs slide to the edge of the arm rest. i also attempted to move my arm and got it to move up in the arm just a bit. well i got excited and wanted to snap out, so i had to relax and close my eyes and when i opened them i was ok. asked my g/f if i had moved she said no.

3) the last one was this past friday night.. this time same place as before but i was sitting up leaning to get some rest and my g/f was laying next to me with her head on my shoulders. the next thing i remember was i thought i heard her ask why i was shaking but i never answered. i opened my eyes and realized i go to the "state" again. I was much more determind to get out and basicaly willed myself out but instead of floating or standing up. i fell forward in between the couch and coffee table.. i put my arm out to help myself up and my arm went through the coffee table. i turned around to look back at my g/f and i had seen her leaning in my direction. the only part i dont understand is i dont remember seeing myself. anyway i reached out to try and wake her up to get her attention and all i could see was the look on her face like something scared the crap out of her. at that exact moment i must have snapped out of it and i was still in a dazed state.. she had gotten up to look out the window.. i asked what she was doing she said she though she had seen a light outside. and the was pretty much the end of that.

then saturday night comes around and a couple friend were over.. and we were all sitting around chit chatting.. and i just rememberd what happend the night before.. i said to the one friend "I had another obe last night" and started to tell them what happend up to the point where i tried to touch my g/f.. i then asked my g/f if she was scared about anything and she said yeah, then finished explaining things.

I had warned my g/f jokeing around that after my first experience i would try to do something that would get her attention. I still dont think she believes what i have been telling her.

My question is, can you have an effect to the outside world while in your obe state? has anyone else attempted to contact someone while in obe? Why the heck cant i do this somewhere other then the couch at my g/f's home?
