Title: Is the WILD technique the same as phasing?
Post by: v3nge on October 22, 2011, 11:47:52
http://lucid.wikia.com/wiki/Hypnagogic (http://lucid.wikia.com/wiki/Hypnagogic) This website has a good description of WILD, they call it something else but its WILD. I have been practicing lucid dreaming for a while now but only recently got into phasing and astral projection. I never really used WILD that much because it seemed like a lot of effort when I could just use the WBTB technique that is easier and more successful imo. But after reading up on phasing and practicing it I noticed that it is essentially the same thing as WILD. Any thoughts?

So phasing is actually a type of lucid dreaming?

Here is a tutorial I found at the dreamviews forum, but somehow I didn't realize they are the same thing that Frank was also talking about...

More like Lucid Dreaming is a Projection.  :)

Yes, Phasing and WILD techniques aren't just similar... they're different words for the same thing.
Once you wrap your head around that idea, the whole reality of "projections" becomes pretty clear as to what they really are.  :)
