Lately I've been having a lot of new experiences since I decided to practice for an AP or OBE, at this point I'm a little confused because I don't know anymore if it's all made up by my mind or I'm just becoming more aware of that stuff.

I'm not usually patient, but I've come to understand that this time the last thing I need is to get frustrated so I'm taking this calm and easy and just now as I was starting this post what got me into that confusion is that a get a new experience like once or twice a week (I haven't had an AP yet though) but what I mean is that I wasn't expecting to get so many experiences in a short time.

Today, while I was taking a nap, which I rarely do, I felt/sensed like my dad was pinching my face and also heard a voice (I just assumed it was him) so I wanted to wake up, open my eyes and I couldn't, I wanted to scream, move, but nothing happened. At some point I remember opening them and seing no one there, I don't even know anymore if I really opened my physical eyes, but I have a clear image that there wasn't anybody in the room. Also I would get into a dream and then get back to the same state, quite a few times until I just stayed in one dream. The whole thing was really frustrating, I didn't think of sleep paralysis until a moment ago, but I still have that unpleasant feeling of wanting to scream and freaking out.

I feel like I'm going crazy already, still trying to recall as much as I can, as I said I don't know if it's all mind made, like this is just a dream about it. I feel all messed up and that now I can't even tell what's real and what's a dream.

any advice anyone?

Sounds like sleep paralysis, did you have any other sensations? Vibrations are always a good indicator.
If you really aren't sure whether you're awake or projecting, just do a reality check.

I'm seriously going to start doing reality checks, just now as I was eating with my family, my dad mentioned that yesterday there was a small earthquake here in my city, I started freking out because I had a vivid dream last night about an earthquake, I was lying in bed and felt and saw it move (actually I was worried that a picture I have hanging on my wall would fall down), not a big one though, but the real one happened in the afternoon not at night, as I was telling this to them they were like "but it was in the afternoon, nothing happened last night" then I got freaking confused again!! I really thought it happened last night, but anyway, they looked at me as if I was some sort of weirdo, my cousin who is a psychologist gave me a more reasonable explanation, that maybe I didn't registered it consciously when it happened but that my subconscious did and that's why I dreamed about it.

About the other day, I did have some unusual sensations, I don't know how to describe them though I was really freaked out about it, I just know that they were strong, like when you tight your muscles, but like 10 times that. Only once before had something similar (not as strong though) and I was dreaming I was getting out of the body and I saw some sparkling around me/in me. Perhaps I have gotten to the trance state but losing all consciousness.

As I was reading another post, this caught my entire attention:

Aravoth:
QuoteBack in November I felt vibrations. Massive vibrations. They were so intense that I thought I was in the middle of an earthquake.

that reminded me of my last experiece (the one about the earthquake), could those had been vibrations? if so, I didn't know they could get THAT intense.

CFTraveler

Yes.  And even more intense, with sound effects.

haha the joys of projecting lol
weird noises
weird sensations
weird thoughts and questions lol

the joys haha

one tip is if you get them sensations where you cant move all you need to do is either increase your breathing or make it a diffrent patten or you could move your eyes behind your eyelids i read that this helps get rid of the sleep paraylsis

good luck lol

I don't enjoy it either.  That's one of those things I avoid if I can.

I can't stand sleep paralysis either, but you can definitely make the most out of it! Its an ideal state for projection. So if it happens again, try not to be afraid (I know, that coming from me, eh?  :-P ) and focus on using your preferred exit technique. Good luck!
