To those who have APed, (something I am trying to do, but with no sucess :smile: ) What is logic like in the astral realm? Is it somewhat different? Same? Non-existent? Could you make things like square circles there? Do things make sense, or are they generally out-there kind of stuff like in dreams? I am just very curious, logic and reasoning are of great interest to me.
I haven't APed, but read a lot about the subject, I think I can answer :P
In the astral, any question that starts with "Is it possible..." generally has "yes" as an answer.
Now about your example of square circles and whether things make sense...
A square and a circle are shapes that we named... A square isn't a circle, just like a car isn't a fruit, etc... So imagining a square circle wouldn't work too well... For things like geometry, however, you could possibly gain the ability to make sense of more than 3 dimensions.
I don't know if you've heard of the 4 dimension rubik's cube... There's a program out there that allows you to see it in 2 dimensions. I am pretty sure you could allow yourself to represent the 4D cube in your mind and solve it in the astral, much more easily than if you tried to solve it in your head here in the physical world.
I assume it would take a lot of effort to "forget" 3 dimensional and learn 4 dimensional, it wouldn't simply be like converting centimeters to inches, but yes, it would definitely be "possible!"
if you mean whether the analytical mind works like it does in real life then the clear answer is no. iwouldnt try to slove a mathematical problem while projecting. its hard just to read texts and draw a meaning out of them. you will be able to see a bunch of letters but there mostly will be no sense. if you mean logical thinking concerning reallyity then i think its dependant on the energy level of the projections. i think the less energy there is the more it will be like a dream and you wont even realize it. of course it will be more realistic that a dream and you are still able think clearly in some way but for example you wouldnt bother with a dog jumping around you although you have no dog in your house or things like that. when theres more energy available than consciousness is more like waking consciousness and you immediately recognice things that dont belong here. i hope i could have helped.
Wow, sounds interesting. I mean, I think of alot of crazy possiblies (or non-possibilities) like the square-circle thing or both existing and not existing at the same time. Crazy stuff, so once I am able to AP, I'm gonna try this stuff out.
Thought = Direct Action in the astral.
