First of all, hello everybody, and Namaste! :-)
I've been studying Astral Projection for about a month and a half now, but I've also studied Lucid dreaming because of the connection between the two.. well, that I believe there is.
Last night, I attempted to Astral Project (as usual), but unfortunately I had such a busy day and had much trouble staying awake, I got to the point of hearing weird noises (static?) and a loud ringing, feeling like things were touching my legs and Astral vision, and then I fell asleep.
Anyways, I have made a habit of stopping numerous times a day and asking out loud "Am I dreaming?" And assessing my situation, verifying whether or not I am awake, because I learned that if you do this then you will out of habit ask those questions in a dream and from there can take control of them.
Last night I dreamt I was in a house with pitbulls, and I asked myself if I was dreaming, at the time I realized I was and tried to take control of it. During the time I felt like I was wide awake, and I remember little pieces of my dream, I tried blinding these vicious(ugh) dogs and changing the scene but it didn't work. I'm not too sure what happened in this dream but after the whole vicious dog situation, I remember flying upwards, through the roof of some weird pointy shaped black building, and up towards the starry sky, saying I was going to see outer space. I felt my stomach getting sick from going so fast, churning, and I felt light as a feather.

Now, I would have said that this was an AP experience but if so, why was I in that situation with the dogs? I couldn't put my arms through anything either.  Was this just a very vivid dream? Thinking back on it, I can't remember as much, and I don't feel like I was as aware as I felt in the dream.
