This is my most recent OBE, a short one, that happened 2 days ago (Tuesday 11/25.)

Out Of Body Experience # 81
Deliberate, But Short, With Barrier
Tuesday, November 25, 2008

Strong vibrations awoke me late at night. The vibrations continued to grow until they were almost violent. At the peak of the vibrations I consciously attempted to separate my consciousness (astral/ethereal body) from my physical body. It took less than a minute to affect that separation. I rose/floated up a few feet directly over my physical body.
It was very obvious that I needed to get a good distance away from my physical body. So I tried to go through the window in the bedroom to get outside. Unfortunately the window was on the other side of the bed. Even though I charged at the window my physical body on the bed acted as a sort of barrier. So I could not go through the window.
Then I glided/floated into the next room and tried to get outside through a small triangular window. I nearly made it outside yet could not get through and suddenly found myself reintegrated back in my physical body.
Notes. Unsure what time the OBE happened, sometime between Midnight and 3:00 AM. The duration was short - only 60 to 90 seconds. I physically lay on my right side.
OBE # 81. Locale I, a Familiar Location. No Familiar or Unfamiliar Person(s) or Being(s).
Deliberate,  Barrier,  Meditation,  Brain Wave Generator/Hemisync (I listened to a RMI Metamusic CD last night for the first time in over a month),  Energy - (pranayama),  Floated,  Short.

Thanx for reading.
Comments and opinions are welcome.

Recently having the frustrating experience of being fully lucid in a trance and looking at a wall.

This has happened several times and the textures of the wall are different each time, but that's all I can do, look at a wall.
Is this a barrier created by the subconscious to prevent me from exploring and having access to experiencing this creation?

In the past, I've been able to easily pass through glass and walls during RTZ experiences.

My guess is that there is a certain amount of electrical and heat energy contained in every wall (electrical wires inside each wall and the normal heat retained in a wall). Normally this energy will not be a barrier to passing through the wall. Sometimes, however, when OOB when a person's own energy is low or their concentration and focus are lacking (as was the case during my latest OBE) the low amount of energy inside a wall DOES act as a barrier and prevents the person from passing through.

Hi Grey, yeh, I think my energy is low, with the winter and shorter days to get used to.

I'll try some energy exercises, thanks.
