New to Ultimate Reality and astral Projection

Good day all.  Last week I had started a discussion in Our Ultimate Reality Forumns and it was suggested to share the experience here that I may get more feel back about what may have possibly been happening.  Here is what I had posted:

Last night I attempted Astral Projection for the first time.  As soon as it was starting to seem like I was going into a trance state (I was seeing colors and white swirls and such)something bizarre happened and brought me out of my trance state before I was able to proceed any further.  At the same time that I was sensing that I was going into a trance state, I heard a loud noise like glass breaking.  This was quite loud and caught my attention. I got up out of bed and walked towards where the sound came from (my bathroom). 

Anyway what I found there was one of the lightbulbs in my bathroom had exploded and glass was everywhere.  The weird thing is, my lights were all off and there should of been no electricity current or heat to this bulb or any of the bulbs for that matter.  The lights had been off for a good 30 to 45 minutes, so in no way should it have been hot or anything like that.  When I was trying to project, I was focusing on talking with my deceased Aunt June. 

I in no way think this was related to my Aunt June, but I had also earlier this same day found out on the news that someone who I knew their family had been killed this past weekend or earlier that day over a Yankee/Redsox dispute.  The Yankee fan killed this guy for saying the Yankees Stink.  My gut feeling with the lightbulb exploding was that somehow the guy who had been killed earlier that day was making himself known or trying to somehow contact me. I'm not 100% sure that this was the case, but something told me it was and that I should wait to attempt Astral Projection. 

I was not really scared, but startled with all of this and something in the experience did not seem right, therefore my instinct was to try Astral Projection another night.  I have nothing against helping a spirit at all.  I just do not feel like I am ready to this this until I am more experienced in Astral Projection and OBE.

I guess what I really wonder is were these incidents and the experience somehow related as I feel they somehow are?

I now believe that this was more likely my own energy that caused the light bulb to explode, but am wondering if others have ever experienced anything like this?  I have yet again to try to AP again.  I have been too tired all this week, but I will practive AP again.

I feel that you did it
I have fused many light bulbs, I suspect, and they don't last even a month when I'm around. I've replaced them all with CFLs.

Your case is strange because the bulb was off.

Yes, I agree that this was wierd.  The light bulb was off and had been off for atleast 30 minutes before it exploded.  I think this is kind of a neet thing that happened though.  It  really shows how much energy we are made up of.  I would have never imagined anything like any of the stuf I am learning about and experiencing ever happening.
