Title: math class OBE
Post by: funinfloating111 on October 14, 2004, 17:48:03
yesterday, while in my first period class, i was REALLY tired. i was trying so hard to stay awake but i kept nodding out. soon i was so frusterated from staying awake i decided to try to OBE. i layed my head down and within seconds it felt like my desk was a car driving at really fast speeds. it was actually really uncomfertable, i was really dizzy and it was really loud. it diddnt last long, however, and i rolled right out of my body. the classroom looked the same but it was much brighter and it looked as if there were alot of flowers in it. it was really shocking because i could hear, and pay attention, to what the teacher was saying. and when she said she was gonna right our homework assignment on the board, i woke myself up and sure enough she was writing our assignment on the board. it was a really unique OBE.

Hi,
I've had this happen to me a few times when I was still at school...too bad I discovered that it is possible so late...I must admit it's a pretty unique experience

Quotei layed my head down and within seconds it felt like my desk was a car driving at really fast speeds.

Key elements of this projection was:
1. unusual body position
2. extreme tiredness
3. continuous sense of movement

Projection might be very easy for those who are able to produce the feelings of being continuously but passively moved (accelerated) in one direction. These feelings are tricky to get but after one is succeed projection is very easy.

The exact direction of the motion will greatly affect the outcome. Moving upwards along the body axis promotes phasing which is a direct access to the astral without the preceding sense of separation.

Feeling a motion perpendicular to the phasing vector is more apt for OBE-like experiences. Separation become possible after the identification with the body has been decreased by hypnagogic imagery or some specific focus inside the mind.

Monroe's method (as he has described it in his first book) and Bruce's Rope represent the two opposite of these vectors. The two direction could be alternated as a seamless modification of the pull's direction. For more earthy approaches, a roller-coaster imaginary is preferred.
