Hi Guys,

I had my 1st projection not too long ago and since haven't really had much luck with exiting my body. The problem is I don't fully remember the first experience too well and cannot refer to the method I actually used to project.

Most days I meditate for approx 20 minutes by sitting in a seated position, relaxing my body and trying to keep my mind clear by staring into the black behind my eyes. After a while I tend to see the different colored shapes moving across my view which sometimes then progresses on to random images which seem to be in my mind but after finishing meditation I cannot even remember what the images that I saw were.

This is as far as I can now get.

I understand that everyone has their own method of meditation but can anyone shed some light on what meditation method they use or what works best for them?

Thanks..

I basically do the same thing and have about as good recall of the images as you. 20 minutes twice a day, but I usually use a mantra. But lately I haven't been using the mantra because I've been practicing with Robert Monroe's hemi sync gateway series on the side and now I'm using his techniques during my meditation instead (which is basically just relax, then resonant tuning, then saying ten which will immediately bring me into focus10. From there I usually just look at the blackness and see some moving colors which turn into random glimpses of images

That's pretty much the definition of meditation right there. Now you just have to continue this with daily practice. You will find your memory recall will become better. Just make sure you log our results immediately after you meditate/phase.

Your description is also the method known as Phasing. Meditation is not really any different. It's just Phasing is ALLOWING yourself to deepen into it. To lose all focus on your physical body and shift to the NPR.

Come to think of it, once again that sounds a lot like meditation!

I've never logged a meditation session before. Should I just write anything I hear or see? Sometimes I hear music but it's usually just a song that's stuck in my head and it's hard to get out

Log it like you would with any other Scientific experiment. Date, time, results (like unusual feelings, visions, sounds etc.) and any other pertinent comments or info found in the session.  :-)

Thanks Lionheart

Last night I managed to spend approx 45 minutes meditating and went with the usual method. However, after seeing flashing colors and images for a while the strangest thing happened.

I could of sworn I heard the loudest scream from what seemed to be a baby, i've heard the rumors about hearing screams, shouts and all sorts while phasing but nothing prepared me for this. It was so clear and I thought i'd officially gone crazy!

Am I on the right track?

Yes you are. You are actually right there. now just passively observe all this and move on. Don't be surprised if you don't hear the screams and shouts next time. Because you have already experienced it. Just watch for the next strange thing to occur and keep notes on your progress.

Open yourself up totally with bravery! Allow what happens to happen. Pretty soon you can start creating an intent and join that scenario.

But for now, just get comfortable with what it takes to get to the doorway. There is no race, there will be alot of time to explore later.

Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)

That is pretty useful information, thanks

Sit on the floor in a quiet place with cross legged with your straight spine and your hands should be on your lap. Close your eyes. Take in a deep breath and let it out completely. You have to continue this inhalation and exhalation process.  I meditate for 20 minutes approx.
