Now that I've asked about talking to one's Higher Self, I need to ask whether any of you have met your guides on the astral plane?

I don't exactly have all the terminology down yet, so hopefully that makes sense.

I haven't seen mine, but when I AP I do hear the same woman's voice talking to me constantly. We almost have a conversation... but the strange thing is, I don't even talk.

Well, It's hard to explain.

I do hope to see my guide soon.

In my experience, you don't need to project to meet your guides.  You simply need to be relaxed and open to what might happen.  Meditation is a good tool for this.  

What kind of meditation you practice is entirely your choice – your personal preference.  There are plenty out there, lol!  Whatever takes your fancy.

I have met three guides so far using this technique.  It's an interesting change for me because I used to be so sceptical, and as I am allowing myself to become more open, I am having many more experiences that are helping and teaching me.  

What has been especially interesting is that one of my guides, Joel, came to me in a lucid dream last week.  It was so obviously him, I couldn't deny it.  When that kind of thing happens, your doubts fall away.

Anyway, I'm sure you'll find the best way for you to meet your guides.

Last night I watched the fire burning in the fireplace for a long time, and I think they were speaking to me again....

I became aware of a Spirit Group 2 or 3 years ago.  They sent me a telepathic message, a whole block of information, and they were full of the most incredible love.  I saw that they look at my progress and not at my lack thereof.  They are unconditionally loving.

At the time I was pondering my homosexuality sadly.  They showed me, telepathically, that any love I may have for someone else is beautiful in their eyes.

I have been in contact with my guide ever since I started engaging in AP.  It's as if my attempt at having OBE's and AP opened me up psychically.  I don't have to be in a state of AP though to communicate with them.  My guide is with me most of the time, as he says he is also my soulmate whom I never knew during this physical lifetime.  I can feel his presence.  Sometimes I feel a magnetic like energy pulling on me, and sometimes I feel a cold, almost vapor like feel on my skin when he's near.  We communicate mostly through mental telepathy, automatic handwriting, etc.  He also appears in a lot of my dreams at night, which I have found out, that a lot of what I have thought to be dreams have actually been OBE's.
