Well it is easy to see if the police are looking for the person/vehicle you have seen.  Just look on the web.  Start with any local gov. pages you know and search from there for the police department.  

This will at least let you know what is going on in your head.  Dream or real.

I have encounters where I help people out of situations. Lately I have been getting serial killers where they are going beyond what has been predetermined by others lifes paths. Theres been many other situations and I have been told that it's soul rescue work. Yes it happens on this physical level and you can search it out on the net for your own verificaiton. I was told that its not necessary for me to alert the police because I'm doing the work needed on another level. I believe that it happens on many other levels or dimensions also. Some dimensions where I'm very active there are already many alien species, openly, running around and causing trouble:)
Can you do anything about the situation in an altered state?

Well...I think it could go either way.  I think you can answer that question better than anyone.  How well can you distinguish from a mental creation, dream and real-time OBE?  That's the real question.

Occasionally I find myself with other entitys, where?,  They show me things, like watching a TV set. The serial  killer I seen  this way, then was at the scene with him, but hiding. This is not the first time  I have "watched" things happen, and most came to be. like I said, the encounter kind of went from dream, to OOB, and switched. Someone else posted about it happening in another dimention, which is possable. 2 days after I posted this encounter, I had another with a different serial killer, involving a group of people. Actually this is the thid, having  to do with serial killers.

I think, and this is just my uninformed opinion, that you may be confusing the dream state/lucid dream state/OBE state etc.  <--and this is still overly simplified.  There are so many different types/levels of experience when it comes to the energy bodies.  First of all, if this were happening to me I would think about why I might be having dreams like this.  Have you been thinking about, watching movies, etc. about serial killers?  Could this dream be viewed metaphorically?  These are the kinds of questions you should ask, in my opinion.

I can pretty much distinguish the difference between, lucid, dreams and OOB. I have been doing it for 45 years. Sometimes however, when the stuation is frightening, (such as serial killing), when I awoke the next morning, I was woken up suddenly by the doorbell. I had shifted between the different states of reality (or whatever), that it was really unclear exactly what was going on. I do know that it seems to me , that it was or will be a real incident, where? I don't know. Waterfalls explanation seems to hit the mark however.

Maybe you can read my posting on the "death" thread. It tells a bit more of what I have found out about myself and these types of obe's. You sound much like myself in that we have these experiences and then come out of it saying, 'What the heck was that?':) So are you observing these situations and/or jumping in and trying to protect certain people etc.? I know that there is a purpose for you seeing whats going on. With me, I can fix things in the astral. I can't really fix them in the physical nor do I really want to. (Fix meaning to help another soul fufill it's own predetermined path, if it or they  request help...one life here on earth effects all of those who interact with that person in the lifetime..so it can influence negatively or positively a large group of people.)

What I have been told is that there are negative entities trying to change timelines or change outcomes of certain situations on earth to a certain advantage. Some of us have the abilities to go in and change things back to where they should be... (meaning planned by the soul groups involved). I have met a couple of others who do this also and for a while we were having the same obe experiences.

These serial killer obe's are new to me also. I've had three so far. The one that I remember the most was a man (and like you I could describe him but I don't want to put myself at risk because the fixing has already been done) who was really well off and he had a wife. What he was doing was killing his wife's female friends. Now the arrangement on a soul level...their plan for this life was that she would realize what he was doing and stop him at a certain phase, but she became blind of what he was doing and could not see the negativity in him. It came to a crisis point where he was going to kill her best friend. This friend had a whole soul agreement in this life to interact with others and strong family ties to fufill...it basically was not her time to die and her death would effect so many others paths. So what happens with me is that I see this whole scenario open up before me. I'm infused with the knowledge of what I need to do. I jump into the body of the wife (only by the most strictest permission) and I take her through the actions of what her soul's contract basically is. I save the friend and can remember taking the friend to the police station and telling all to the police. The husband is arrested... I release, at that point and get to watch how the outcome unfolds. In this event I had all sorts of spirits from the friends soul group coming to me and saying thankyou...was very rewarding, but.... very scarey!! all in all... I believe it to be in real time. Not the most fun thing I've gone through.

So sometimes when you pray for help it may come through the form of another, currently living human, in the astral. I've had that happen to me once when I thought that I was really in great spiritual danger and the spirit of a Shaman named Harold Bear came to help me. Of course it was early in my development and I really wasn't in 'danger' but he was there all the same with a big smile on his face.

So please tell me more about your experiences and even if they are developing into having you take a more active role

Waterfall...I have read and printed the post "death", find everyones comments so interesting.
My encounters with serial killers...I do find myself plyig an active roe saving other people from them, waning people. The first I had last year sometime, this man was involved with real estate, selling plots of land, his victims young blond girls, scared the heck out of me, I serched the web for missing girls, blond, had no luck. I don't hae much details about that one. The second, I know his nickname (I rather not tell) he drives a blue utility truck, has embroidered, yellow and red,something on his hat and jacket. Using a stun gun to kidnap, rape, torture and kill his victims. The area, I don't know, but near a housing project or development. There are a family with a few young sons involved here. The third encounter I had within days of the second. A prominent, wealthy man, in some kind of cult or group, using a syringe with drugs to immobilize his victims. He had 2 middle aged women, his thing is cutting them up, removing body parts with a knife. I was horrified. Other people know what he is doing, hey won't stop him or speak up. I talked one girl into informing on him.  I also remember people being grateful to me.The last was the most hofifying of them all. I know his face, have no name.
These kinds of encounters I really could do without. )

Well I really think we are kindred spirits:) I'm so happy to find another person who is doing the same astral work that I am. When all of this started to happen to me I sought information from my friend who channels the Echo. they said that, and this would apply to you also, that because of us having so many spiritually focused past lives, many in which we were shaman. That these 'abilities' now come naturally to us...because of our light path to be of service to others and help any way we can. We agreed to help others in this manner. My 'helping' also is with people as a whole on the earth and trying to protect others from negative beings and their activities.
Oh this is interesting too. They explained that sometimes when people pray for help or in a situation that they cannot handle. We come in and sort of help them play out their role. So that divine assistance may sometimes be coming from another person living onthe earth. I thought this was really neat:)

I think so too. I am also happy to know someone else is experiecing the same thing I am. I have no one, except on the web that knows anything about spirit work, oob's, etc. No one to ask questions, or help guide me. I finally have some  answers that make real sense.
I find myself  while in dreamworld, telling  people that I am going to snap myself "out of the scene" and do so by waking myself up.also searching for Kendrick, I know he is in body.

Just an update:
Since I first posted this message here, a woman was found raped and brutally murdered just about 5 miles from where I live. Our city is small and this is not a frquent thing here. They are treating the case with less enthusiasm then normal since she was a prostitute. I have no idea of any of the details on this, but wish I did no to compare them with the "blue utility truck" encounter. Just thought I would update.

Last night my husband was watching a program on serial killers. They were creating profiles to describe the killers.

One was horrific - the guy would kill the victim, leave the body, and a few days later go back, make incisions in the body, and then move the body to a new location. When you mentioned the incisions, I was reminded of this particular case.  

They then mentioned that the victims were prostitutes.   Because of the similarity of your post to what the show mentioned, as well as the timing (the show being aired last night) I thought I would mention it.  I only overheard bits and pieces - it was too gruesome and so I left the room. But if you are interested in the title of the show, I can ask my husband.

I'm glad I don't have these!

I had a flash in my mind . . . a website forum where people such as yourselves could meet with investigators of missing persons cases.  A searchable database . . . hm.  But then again, if your life's purpose is to work issues on the astral level, it might actually be better for you never to know for sure.  It's worth checking out the Web, though.

A psychologist might state you are working out rescue/abandonment issues from your own childhoods.  For instance, perhaps you were abused, or left high-and-dry as a child, and are trying to reconcile it in your dreams.  Meaning, the murder victim in your dreams is really YOU.  I think we all do this type of thing in our dreams sometimes, so if it turns out to be just that, don't feel bad!

Then again, this might be the Real Deal.  Hey, it happens.

In EITHER case, when you have dreams/OBEs such as these, you are best off doing everything you can to save whomever needs to be saved.  Because even if  you are working out your pesonal issues in your dreams, YOU are worth saving too.  And that's a fact.

I have had an encounter with a serial killer. Is this a dream. OOB, or lucid, I am not sure, it kind of went from one to another. I am not a stranger to the dream world, as I have been doing this since the age of 7. But anyhow, this serial killer I encountered, has killed 3 women, I know his vechicle, nickname, and other details. Is this really happening somewhere? help...advise welcome
