although i'm still deciding whether mine was concious or semi-concious I will add my but. I felt the best feeling in my whole life, I knew it was possible i got up walked into my living room and started peforming a banishing ritual, then I decided to go back in but I thought I saw a hand out of the corner of my eye comming out of a cupboard which was on the wrong side of the room (alice in wonderland?) then I went back in and felt very hot vibrations and woke up

I was deep into the trance, and knew that it was the farthest i had gotten while staying concious when i felt what to me was like a light kiss on my forehead. Automatically i knew it was my older brother who had passed 2 years before hand. His spirit surrounded me and i felt a great surge in my energy. I reached the point of having astral vision and i saw him at the side of my bed urging me on with a great big smile on his face. I struggled for a bit, then told him, "Ya know, you could help me out a lil here bro." He proceeded to grab my astral form by its foot and yanked me out of my body. Next thing i realize, hes holding me up by my foot upside down. We had a good laugh about this, and then shared an embrace that only brothers/best friends who havent seen each other for long time share (still brings a tear to my eye :). We talked about my mom, and how i could help her deal with the loss of my brother being as she was still coping with it. I inquired about our Grandfater, and he asked if i wanted to see him. I say yes, he locked hands and a scene unfolded where we were standing in the middle of a half-circle judges bench. The bench was very tall and forboding, and there were at least 4 judges seated around it. My grandfather, although he was a generally good person, had some serious flaws and i felt as if this is why we here. The vision faded, i returned to my body, and now i have a precious memory that i wouldnt trade for the world.

KMD242,
That is a truly beautiful experience you describe ... makes me jealous and joyous at the same time!

I started having OBE's last year, during the Christmas break ... and all I can say is "WOW! WOW! WOW!" and "Holy Cow!" What an experience it was to first unintentionally enter (not planned at all) into a Wake Induced Lucid Dream ... then another WILD ... then suddenly appear to be looking at the ceiling, as if I was laying on my back, when I was physically on my left side, in fetal position ... all the while being fully conscious of this 'discrepancy'. So, I focus on the ceiling, thinking I'm Lucid Dreaming (no OBE vibes at all) ... and suddenly I float up and bump-stop with my nose to the ceiling. It's at this point I realize that I'm Out of Body. Shortly there after, I'm back 'inside' my body in 'no man's land' with zero visual ... complete blackness ... this leads up to my next OBE, which piggy-backed the first one.

So, I now *feel like* I'm positioned face down (still physically in fetal position) so I 'will' myself up and away from my body. As I 'go up and away' my body is represented by a dim gold starburst " * " that's far off and away. I know that my wife is lying beside me, so I move to my left ... no visual ... I move farther left ... there's her starburst " * " far below. So, I will myself down to her and occupy the SAME SPACE. That was an interesting feeling, a feeling of merging our two bodies into one 'mass' ... kind of like a Star Trek transporter that mixed our patterns as one, during a malfunction!

These simple experiences have had a profound impact on me spiritually ... interesting how God works that way, eh?!

Cheers!

The only thing that stuck out from my first time was the reentry. I slammed back into my body so hard I thought I was going to end up crashing through the bed.

I remember the feelings I got from it. It all hit me so quickly. The vibrations came at me and i heard a hemi-sync brainwave type of pulse mixed with an electroshock type noise while my whole body vibrated, as if rocked by an awsome amount of electricity. i projected out and stumbled forward about 10 feet and got my astral vision. I tried to control my excitement and pulled some energy from my phsyical body. Then i felt the strangest sensation in the world, passing through a brick wall! I was outside and it was a beutiful sunny morning. I remembered what i had read in AD and decided to give swift movement a try. I willed myself out onto the road and then started forward. I raced along the road with only my toes on the ground. i stopped at the end of the street and turned. Then I tried the next step, jumping! Anyone here like that as much as me? I launched upward from one in of the street to the other. All those feelings were so amazing that my eyes tear up when i think about it. Im gonna try and visit an astral realm or something the next time out. Good luck to all.

Hi everyone,

Remember your very first out of body experince? What was it like?
Remember the feeling you had during and afterwards?

Mine was great:) It was a saturday or sunday morning in december 2000, and i had finished reading robert monroes book "journeys out of the body" a couple of weeks ago, and i decided i would try it that morning. When I did I got the BIGGEST feeling of nestelgia, the vibrations, they reminded me of something i had experienced before, and seperating, I rose about a foot above my body and then decided that would be enough for a first go (was a bit scared i think, hehe:)), then got back into my body.

The nestelgia is the thing that stands out the most in my mind though, it was so strong, and it just hit me, and then the feeling that life is so much more then what we percieve. Think about it, we're only living a certain part of life, there is SOOOOOOOO much more out there and its such a mystery, and adventure:)
