Hellish Realms

Have any of you ever projected and found yourself on a hellish realm?  Do you think this could be happening to some NDE'ers who have unpleasant experiences?

Hellish realms do not necessarily have anything to do with the afterlife...

I don't think they are where we're supposed to go...just that lower realms exist where troubled souls might reside, so I am wondering if this can happen accidentally during an NDE?  Some people have hellish NDEs.

In one of his books, Monroe described the 'Belief System Territories', and described them as astral realms (focus points) where people go to right after death.  They conform to the belief system of the deceased, and they stay there until they're ready to go to their next point of evolution, so to speak.
He reported going there as an APer and met other AP'ers too.  So I guess it's in the interpretation.
