I have been fascinated with AP/OBE for some number of years.  I have made attempts here and there for a long time now.  I get into a phase of strong interest and try very hard...and never have any success.

Recently, I have had another phase of strong interest.  I have been trying to AP and I have been trying for the last couple of months.  I have achieved the vibrational state two times, but nothing happened.  Last night, I woke up about 2:00am, when my brother came home.  I talked with him about a party he was at.  I went back to bed.  I had a little bit of a hard time going to sleep, so I decided to try to AP.  I was focusing on my breathing, and trying to arouse the vibrations.  They never came, but I heard this loud pop in my left ear.  It startled me, and my heart pounded very much like when you hear an unexpected loud noise during the night.  I calmed down in a few moments and wondered if I was close.  I remained focused and tried very hard to relax and try some more.  I felt a sort of sinking, then a "floaty" type of sensation.  I felt like my limbs were very light, and if I could just relax a little more, I could float.  I asked my spirit guide for help, and just let go.

I then felt very light.  I felt as if I might have let loose.  No vibrations, or swooshing, just a very subtle light "floaty" feeling.  I figured I was out.  I could not see anything, but I just kept calm and waited to see if anything would come.  I then found myself in my grandmother's old house, in the kitchen, looking out the window.  There was a field of flowers outside, very pretty and vibrant.  I said to myself, "I'm out"!  "I know my body is asleep"! "If I'm right, I can fly through that window".  I lurched for the window and flew through it!!!!  I was flying past/through the flowers kind of like a hummingbird.  I thought of a person that I wanted to visit, but I awoke.  :(

I didn't feel rushed, or pulled back in any way...I just woke up.  I didn't snap back, or have any troubles...I just calmly woke up.  I wish I could have done more, but I was happy when I woke up.  I knew what had just happened.  I laid in bed and smiled, and thanked my spirit guides, the angels, and Mother and Father God.  I FINALLY accomplished AP!

Even though it was short, I know better than to dismiss this event as a dream.  I have had so many sleep problems for the last couple of years (sleep apnea), I get extremely happy when I have a regular dream, as this has, of late, been a rare occurence.  I never sleep good enough or deep enough, and even if I do, I RARELY remember anything.  This is the FIRST time in my entire life, that I have physically KNOWN that I was asleep and that I was out!  I wished that I would have journaled this event right away..as I think there are some things that faded away.

I have petitioned God and my guides to help me with this...and I finally done it!  Last week, during a reading with my dear friend, I learned of a new guide I had beside me.  She told me he was here specifically to help me with AP!  You all have helped as well, as I have been a reader for a while now.  I have read all of Robert Monroe's books...they were the ones that kicked off my interest in this subject.

Thanks for listening, and God bless all of you!
