So last night I decided to get back into OBE attempting. I read and got more information on how I should attempt doing so as I have never had a succesful attempt to date. I tried as I was going to sleep and I knew my chances were very slim if I did that. Obviously it didn't so I had my alarm wake me up in the morning a little earlier than usual to try again. I heard in the morning when you wake up is easiest to project compared to trying before you go to sleep. My alarm woke me up in the morning as I got up and went to the bathroom all in about 5 minutes. I got back into my bed and tried a new teqnique I had just learned about. As I layed down I listened to my breathing in a 'passive' attempt to OBE. About 5 minutes into the passive listening I started to feel a what is usually described as a buzzing feeling in both my hands. I ignored it as I have heard that they are nothing of major importance. Soon after I lost that feeling and then my body just instantly got covered from what felt like a tingling feeling, It felt like an aura sort of.. From my toes to my head I felt this and it was the first time I have ever felt it. At this point I was unsure of what to do next. I tried picturing a place to be, rolling out, and even looking around my room but nothing of the sort happened. :?

Any ideas as to what I should do?

You made it right, but you must wait longer. The tinglinng shows, that you make something very right, but not the exit phase. Wait till you can not feel your body anymore (The sensation disappears cvomnpletely!!!!). Then you can try the exiting.

Is this what most people feel? The entire body feeling?

Rudolph

For me, yes. Light tingling over the whole body along with a very warm wave. It borders on just plain HOT! sometimes.

Yup. Your body knows where it wants to go, and goes back into the state rather quickly. You just gotta let it do its thing and keep that consciousness awake.

Congratulations on the drowsy morning attempt. It sounded like a success to me. Any progress like that is means to celebrate.

So now, try the same thing. But use metaphysical imagery to keep awake during the process. Like imagine juggling a hackysack with you legs, or shooting around on a basketball court. Get lost in your "daydream" and before you know it, bingo you'll be in the astral.
