So I was up at weird times last night with my sick two yr old and we wind up sleeping on the couch. I woke up at one point and thought that I could still be conscious enough to try to have an obe. Next thing I remember is falling down through my couch and then sliding horizontal towards the end of my couch then stopped about halfway (I remember thinking I didn't want anyone to grab my toes but I didn't sense anyone around) and I could feel the denseness of the couch and then I thought "I wonder if I can sit up" so I had to fight really really hard to push through the couch and my body which felt like mud then I sat up and I thought that I didn't want to turn around and see me because I didn't want to wake up but then I opened my eyes and sounds really weird but was seeing like 4 different viewpoints all at the same time and I got really dizzy and disoriented and then closed my eyes then I think I began to shift into semi consciousness because the dream that I was having before this (before I had woken up) had re entered my space and with my eyes closed still I was remembering where the kitchen was and things like that (from the dream) but was fighting like mad to retain my consciousness like at one point I was washing my hands in the sink at an attempt to get more lucid when I looked up in the mirror and sitting at a table was a man but when I turned around he wasn't there and I didn't feel scared but I gave the peace sign towards the table and said something to the likes of "I'm sending love in this direction" haha then I was walking down this hall trying to figure out what I wanted to do now that I was completely lucid (I thought at one point to try to contact kurt cobain but then thought that I had to many questions for him and didn't know what I really wanted to ask) but then I said something about wanting to see my grandma then a lady comes around the corner and she kinda looks like her at first but then starts to morph into someone else but we hug and while I'm talking its like my face starts going numb and my words are getting harder to say but I'm fighting like crazy to remain lucid but every now and then I forget what I'm saying and then my face goes numb and I can't form the words anymore..I went in and out of that for a while during this conversation, I noticed a couple of other random people standing there listening to our conversation (now I can 't remember anything either of us said, which is a bummer cause I know I asked about the astral and important stuff lol) and then I woke up, anyway just wanted to jot this down since it happened this morning, sleeping on the couch plus being up and odd hours of the night probably contributed greatly to my being able to be lucid, now if I can just figure out how to see normal and not be dizzy and not loose consciousness!! I think I'm getting better though, it had been a while since I even had a lucid dream so I'm glad to know that I am still able to do it! heh

Hi,
Sounds good on the exit. The best thing to do would be to move away from your physical by 20 feet or more. Then shout clarity now while rubbing your hands together. This works well then you can explore further. Keep the travels short then youll remember more of them.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Thanks!! I will for sure rub my hands together and shout clarity now next time! :D

Full memory recall is one of the toughest things to learn. To gain better recall when you first awaken every morning grab your log book and put down your last thoughts. At first it's easier to do by point form, but after awhile it's like writing a new story every morning. This will teach you to be more aware of your dream environments and happenings, you will notice this will also help you in your physical life as well. You will see more little flickers out of the corner of your eyes, colors will appear more vibrant, etc.
