Well I just got back from a LONG night of solid projecting.  I dont know whats going on but over the past month or so my projections during the night have been more lucid and vivid than ever before.  I had a long dream to start it all off, just a typical obstacle course dream, alot like a video game.  Then I was at work and had another bird attacking my head dream that made me wake up.  I shook it off and went back to bed.  I faded into sleep and came out in a large field full of people walking up a stair case up the side of a hill to a giant tent.  The tent was all white and probably the length of a football field, it was made of silky semi transparent material and had a lectern at one end.  I followed the people up the hill.  I knew I was in F3, I just knew it.  I made my way through the crowd to what seemed like someone important.  I said "Excuse me, but could I make an announcement?" and the man looked over at me and said "well.... I guess..." and sort of seemed confused.  People where glancing at me like I seemed out of place and as we reached the tent people seperated into groups and sat in the grass under the tent.  Some in chairs, some in the lotus position.  A quick glance over the crowd reveiled that most of the people where of Indian Muslim or Tibetan lineage.  Some monks where adorned in white Buddhist robes and a section of Hindus with red dots on their heads sat peacefully.  I asked the man again if I could make an announcement and he held out his hand towards the crowd and took a seat in an ornate chair in front of the crowd along with some other people.

I stood facing the people and then turned to face the front and the back.  I stated loudly and clearly "I am here from my living body on earth, I came here through extra dimensional travel.  I am glad to be here with all of you.  Thank you"  I grimaced at my choice of words and decided I could have spoken better given the situation but it was the best I could do.  The man sitting in the chair rose up and with a grin said "What?  Why?  Isnt that... boring?  Or pointless?"  I turned to face the people in the crowd, some of them where talking amongst themselves now and a few just sort of grinned at me like they where trying not to laugh.  I said "Not at all, I find it amazing!  You will have to forgive me if I dissapear randomly though, I dont know how long my visit here will last."  He nodded and feigning patience said "We understand, is there anything else we can do for you?"  At this point I felt my attachment to the area fading and myself returning to my bed.  I gripped feverishly onto the images I was still seeing, staying there for as long as I could.  I began to have a F2 overlay of bees attacking me and I screamed "Ahh, the bees!  I gotta get out of here!"  The guy looked at me like I had lost my mind and then I woke up.

I felt strange and looked about.  I was definitely not awake.  I wasnt even in my house as a matter of fact.  I got up and walked into a hallway.  I could hear people talking and I walked into a kitchen and some members of a rather large family where sitting at a table.  My memory of this house isnt very good but I do remember being astonished by how large the family was (probably 20 or 25 members) and how surreal the house was.  It was straight out of a Tim Burton movie.  Doors at strange angles and archaic gothic appliances.

I woke up finally and put my feet on the floor, glad to be back.  I had my doubts again but atleast I was in my room.  I stood up and moved my limbs, everything seemed normal.  I glanced at my clock and it read 10G47 and I knew I wasnt awake....   :x  I hate getting trapped in a cycle of situations like this.  I walked into my living room and my dad was sitting there watching a TV that was off.  I talked with him but dont recall the conversation and I went to go outside and woke up again.  I was paralyzed and disoriented and allowed myself to slip back into sleep.  I woke up again for the final time and was glad to be back.

I wish I could find my way to that tent and find myself a buddhist teacher.

LOL now that I think about it I wish I would have just sat down with the rest of the people and just seen what was going to happen.  I was so excited to share with them that I had projected amongst them that I didnt even think about the fact that maybe that is what all of them had done or maybe I was meant to be there.  I wish you luck in finding it because it was a truely amazing and serene place.

Hi knightlight

Great experience - well, the mystic shrine was.

You have some SERIOUS false awakenings, don't you?  It must take you a while when you really do awake to confirm that you are awake.  What a nightmare, pardon the pun.

We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

Well LOL it keeps me on my toes I guess.  I dont know if I ever really do wake up to be honest!  :-D  I tend to go through spurts of ridiculous false awakenings or long bouts of SP.  Its always interesting even if it is a bit disturbing....  As much as I would love it all to stop I dont know if I would really want it to, I would probably be bored without it.

This sort of thing only happened to me once, where I had a dream overlay my astral projection.

That was the first time I had ever been in F2 and F3 at the same time, and I had to separate between the two dimensions.

I had always wondered "How can anyone possibly be confused whether they are projecting or dreaming?"
