Title: Near Astral Projection in my first week
Post by: Subu on May 16, 2016, 05:55:43
Hey guys/gals,
In this post I will explain my routine and how it took me to almost getting out of my body within my first week of trying and showed me I need a little more of practice.

I have been doing breath meditation for the last two years. After joining in this forum, I learned that I could try doing Conscious Sleeping.
So in my first week I tried sleeping while remaining aware in a relaxed state, much similar to meditation but more relaxed whilst trying. On the first two days, I had difficulty in sleeping especially when it comes to not moving your body. But from the third day, I moved my body little bit, but didn't move drastically like rolling over or anything. And from the third day, I slept easily and naturally but lost awareness and didn't see myself going into sleep - which is the main purpose of conscious sleeping, I believe. But I had many lucid dreams and dream recall since I tried conscious sleep.
Today, I took a small nap in the evening. Again, conscious sleeping. Got disturbed by my roomies a couple of times when they open and close the door, but thanks to my developed conscious awareness and my meditation practice, I was able to remain in the same deep state. Without noticing, I went to sleep.
I had a dream and in that dream, I noticed that I am experiencing states of trance!!! Then I fell down into a trance in that dream and realized suddenly that I am lucid dreaming. But I also saw that the intensity got lowered as soon as I realized that I am dreaming. But still I remembered to try to do the OBE and I tried.

I heard a loud noise, like a loud AI..AI..AI..AI.. a repeating sound, like a human bark :? and felt the body getting intense (now I see what people meant by vibration). I got so afraid. Intense fear arised! I won't get easily afraid or feared by anything, so I perceived this concept of sleep paralysis as simple. But today I realized that I need more focus when I reach that point to overcome the intense fear to proceed. What if my body was possessed (In the normal state I consider such thing as Bullcrap). I was a little hesitant to proceed though I tried.
Maybe my inexperience, fear, and/or the mild sleep (nap) had got me out of my sleep into a frightened wakefulness.

But I am quite happy with the result so soon! I didn't expect it! My best bet is to meditate while sleeping to achieve Lucid dreaming and Astral Projection.

Kindly suggest me if any and assist me for my progress!

your defiantly on the right path fear is a hurdle we all have to face
just keep doing what you are doing and learning a bit more each time
you need to be a passive observer of whats happening alot easier said than done but keep practicing
