Need help decoding an astral experience!

Hi fellow astronauts!

It's been fairly recently that I started exploring the astral space and lucid dreaming, mostly in search of my deceased twin-flame.

It took me about two months to achieve the first OOBE from a WILD. So far this has been the only time and I find it difficult to repeat the experience, but that's just a matter of time.

Now this was a very short experience as I had difficulty getting hold of the 'out' state due to over-excitedness and snapped back in a matter of seconds.

I exited into the same space where the preceding lucid dream was taking place, it being a past setting of my bedroom, the way it was furnished more than 10 years ago. It was a clearly marked exit with a mind-blowing spin in the crown chakra area and follow-up roll-out.

In that short period of time I didn't have a chance to explore this new environment a lot, but have an exceptional memory of it, the feel of it, the color. I was planning to go to my current bedroom, to see if I can find my physical body, but snapped back before that.

The one thing that keeps lingering in my mind is a black circle that I could see at my eye-level, floating somehow in the air, the size of half a meter probably. It had a patterned rim at the edges.  It did have a feel of some energy and life, but I didn't quite understand what to do with it. It didn't look like a portal to be entered.

My guess is that it might have been some guard or entity, although I have no idea why they would have a form of a circle and not of a certain creature, as that's how my consciousness I suppose would identify an 'entity'. Perhaps this presence was to keep me away from going somewhere I don't yet have the right to go?

The other option would be some sort of negative energy around me, that I have to release/let go of?

I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this, but I used a Tibetan meditation of the blue sphere being placed in the throat chakra to improve the recollection of the lucid dreams/OOBEs. Perhaps this was just the visualization of this sphere...

I wonder if anyone has had any experience with such energy circles/entities or could help with the decoding of the metaphorical meaning that might be attached to it.

Symbols and shapes appearing are a typical manifestation of something playing on your mind.  If it's from the subconcious you may find these appearing again until what's caused the issue is resolved.

Thanks for the insight. It's also been suggested that I try and interact with the object next time I encounter it, so I can't wait for the next successful AP to see how that works out. The problem is: I thought once I manage to project for the first time, next time should be easier, as I would have the sensation to repeat, but it doesn't work out that way I'm hopeful and patient!

It's not that simple, as thoughts change, so does the environment and its contents. Knowing this should lead to you being able to eventually create things.
A LD is exactly this.
