Astral Blower and hollow bodies

I wish I was you, with your natural talent. I still haven't gotten out.

But, perhaps the hollowness is caused by your knowing you're in a seperate body? One that's nothing like hte physical, including not having organs.

Robert Bruce describes a wind in his book. Something about every now and that which created all sucks everything in, checks on it, reprograms it, or something. Or, maybe, it was just windy that night. You can still have physical sensations, I hear.

If you concentrate on your physical body, or moving parts of it, it will happen. There's still a link between your consciousness and your body. I guess there needs to be, for people who want to get back, or want to  end there trip.

And the falling sensation? Well, I don't really have an explaination for that one, either, but I know that sometimes when I'm really tired, I'll have spontaneous OBEs, and I feel like I'm falling. Unfortunately it causes my body to jump in response to the falling sensation, so I grab the edges of my bed. :( I guess if you're not actively thinking about your real-time double or whatever you want to call it, it just starts to obey the laws you're used to, which are physical. So, if'n (I love that word, sorry) ya easily slip into it, and you don't know, since you're so used to gravity, I guess it will start to feel gravity, causing you to fall.

Sorry that this is all speculation, but it might help.

some techniques you can try when you feel you are out but cant see just walk away from the bed as far as you can if you still can't see just pretend you are wiping dirt from your eyes.  You can claim i can see now or clarity now if all else fails someone mentioned you can also use the conjurations to be able to see (available at mysticweb.org astral course conjurations towards neg entities).

Questions 1 and 2 I'll have a go at.
Questions 3 and 4 are a Big [?]
1) Hollow body. Compared to the physical body the astral/ethereal body is practically weightless. An analogy is a lead weight (physcial body) to a helium filled ballon (astral/ethereal body). Compared to the former the latter will simply float up and away. [:)]
2) Wind. Don't know what causes this. Yet I have experienced this wind on at least 2 or 3 occasions. This wind has been so strong as to prevent me from flying. One idea is that there is Extreme Solar Flares causing a Solar Wind to pass the Earth right now. Solar Flares = Asttral/Ethereal wind [?]

Thanks all for your feedback.

Risu no Kairu, (is that Japanese? what does it means?)

I sure hopes I'm as talented as you say but frankly speaking, I just have strange sleeping patern due to some event in my childhood making me half asleep half anticipating something to happens. Not to mention waking up in the middle of the night having SP. So I think that you're better off as you're more prepared.

Eventhough you say it's just a speculation, you do raise good points. I remember reading about the astral wind occurance in some book but frankly it was raining and windy at that time. So maybe it's  a physical sensation after all. Though I never feel the rain.

What I found in my experience is that sometime I can have two awareness, on my physical body and non-physical to varying degree. Must be mind split effect...

I've felt the falling sensation but this is different. There was not so much of a falling sensation as an actual fall. No time to feel a feeling sensation. I was practically falling from my bed. Very much like a physical fall.

Weagle,

I've tried using eye sweeping tricks and asking for clarity but they seems to work only once... Maybe related to expectation? Opening my non-physical eyelids give mixed result. I could be switching on my no-physical sight or I might open my physical sight. I have the mystic web courses but has no chance to read it yet. I'll check on the conjuration stuff (why does this sounds scary?).

Greytraveller,

I ask about the hollow body because there are time that my body does not seems that hollow, it sort of buzz or filled by some speck (hard to illustrate here). Btw it was during te start of projection that I notice this as I haven't try to focus on my body that much while in the middle of projection. Could it be lack of energy?

What I found interesting is why does my phys. body so much repel my non-physical at that time. What am I doing right? Is there anything about the polarity of each body that make seperation so effortless and hw to duplicate it? Guess I need to experiment more.

I know what you mean about the hollow body.  The astral wind type thing I dont remember experiencing.

One thing I've been wondering due to the fact often I feel as if theres nothing to me in an obe.  Hollow, without substance but often without consciousness.  I remember one where I rolled out of my body and I thought I rolled right back into a "pie".  It made no sense but my consciousness had me feeling I was a worm who rolled right back into a whole something.

Anyway I've wondered if maybe the layers people write about "etheric layer" "astral double" really are incomplete.  Im begining to wonder if there are very very thin layers of us.  Ones where we barely even know its us.. it might just be low energy.. but its happened so much to me I wonder often if its really just a thin layer of energy.  Maybe they're the same thing though.

You could be onto something with the lack of conciousness (or awareness). It seems that I'm not that concious when I'm falling down from my bed. There is also the instance that I feel I'm like a ball, hollow and accelerating on my bodies orbit. I don't feel that my mind is in top notch condition either . But there are time that I try to project and felt the same hollow feeling too (but with more conciousness at least compared to that).

What you said about a very thin layers where we barely even know its us is interesting. Maybe there is some truth to that. The hollowness is not always but often enough to warrant notice. Other time, my body feels different, not that hollow. Also I noticed that you have many SP episode, so do I. Is there any relation? It would help if there are more people relating this type of experience so that we can compare notes.

This has happens  a few time. I would come to awareness from sleep and then my physical body will repel my non-physical. It was not that violent, just a gentle push. And then . My body feel hollow, like there is nothing inside. You might say like a balloon. Falling from my bed and climbing back (to go back to sleep) again and again until I realise  my situation. That is I'm already out and as much as I would like to sleep, I might as well go somewhere else.

Starting with no vision I try to walk away from my body. I would walk to my window (still no vision) and climb it. Standing on the window getting ready to jump. Then I would jump. But the last time it was a little different. There seems to be strong wind blowing and as I jump I feel the wind blowing on my body carrying me. The wind make quite a bit of noise too. I was blown by the wind for a while. I don't know why but I try to contract the muscle near the coccyx. And then I realise I'm contracting my physical muscles. Then I wake up.

Any takers? Puzzles including
1) hollow body
2) wind
3) muscle contraction
4) body repel
