Astral Weather

I've been having snips and snaps of experiences lately - hardly worth sharing, but here's one that was a first for me.  This happened a couple of nights ago.

______________________________________________________

I awoke and realised I was in that lovely "zone" or astral or whatever terminology you wish to use.  Anyway, I was still housed in my physical body, but was no longer physical.

I felt a moderate cool breeze blowing across my body, from feet to head.  It was pleasant enough, but I was very puzzled by it.  I'd never experienced this before.  I knew I could have separated from the physical, but wanted to "explore" this breeze for a while.

It was so lifelike, I started to wonder if I was physical and had left all the doors open.  But I was VERY lucid and knew that it was a warm night, there was no chance of this type of wind, and even if it was some sort of freak wind, it would have had to blow into the communal area, turn at right angles to get into my flat and then diagonally into my bedroom.

When I'd satisfied myself that I was indeed astral and the weather was not of the physical world, I then noticed a big yellow machine above me, to my right.  I perceived it as a JCB or similar.  It was moving towards me in a non-threatening manner.  I wasn't frightened, but I did want to get out of its way.

I tried to get out of the bedclothes and got tangled up in them (this is a very frequent occurrence for me).  I don't seem to realise at the time that my astral body is not bound by the laws of bedclothes!!  This time, I couldn't get my feet out and the more I tried, the more the bedclothes wrapped around my feet.

Eventually, I gave in and came to the wonderful conclusion that the machine wasn't going to "get in my way" and neither would "I get in its way".  The reason being, because I was astral it would just go through me.

With this thought, I realised I was now hovering above the machine, approximately 5ft above my physical body.

I rolled over so I was now facing down.  I did this seemingly automatically.  I put my arms out ahead of me and started moving horizontally away and through the bedroom wall.  I was picking up speed and mentally said to myself, "stay with it Sarah, stay with it!!"

I didn't stay with and got zapped back.

I've heard of the famous astral wind (and no, not the one where you've eaten too many beans earlier!!).

Is the wind I felt similar to other's experiences with astral wind?

Oh and I believe the yellow machine was not an astral JCB, but possibly a small fear I perceived as a JCB.  Who knows though, there are probably astral building sites all over the place!!

I recently experienced a wind while I was lucid dreaming (or "low energy OBEing") or whatever.

The wind I felt was very warm and quite strong as it blew down a corridor onto me.

The wind had a magnetic quality to it and it seemed to waft of off an entity of some sort whose presence I could feel at the end of the corridor/hallway. (I'm not 100% sure if this wind actually came from the entity or not).

That's my latest non physical wind experience. :)

Once I felt something very similar. There was a very high pitched noise, so I concentrated on it and felt surges of energy. Then a very strong gust of wind involved me and I started floating on it. It held me for a while, but I didn't get to exit, just waves.
Where does this silence come from?

It is interesting that you encountered an intelligent discarnate machine Selski. There are some other reports of OOB encounters with machines but they are rare.
You mentioned that it probably was not an astral JCB. What is that
And why would you have any fear of an JCB

Hee hee - I didn't get the impression it was intelligent.  It 'felt' inanimate, therefore I came the conclusion after the event that it was a thoughtform that I had created.

A JCB is a vehicle used in this country on building sites and the like.  It's used for digging up the ground and transporting big chunks of earth.  They are normally bright yellow and always BIG.

As an afterthought, I happen to live on a building site... I wonder if that has any bearing on it.  Perhaps the JCB was actually in my line of "astral" vision and it appeared in my room hovering above me?  :dont-know:

As I mentioned, I didn't fear it.  I just wanted to get out of its way.  You would want to get out of the way of a JCB if you saw one coming towards you!

It was only after the event that I wondered if the JCB represented a fear of mine, meaning (for example) that if I have a fear of losing my job in the near future and not being able to find another one... then that fear might manifest itself in the astral as a JCB - perhaps because I would need to start "building" my life again in the workplace and the JCB was my interpreration of this?  Again, I don't know, I'm just thinking out loud.

As it happens, I haven't a clue what the fear might be.  I don't feel particularly fearful in my life about anything right now.

So perhaps it was an intelligent discarnate machine...

Hi Sarah!

I have only experienced what I think was the astral wind phenomena once. I was lying horizontally after exiting, similar to your description. However, I was lying on my back, or rather floating on my back. This was unusual for me because I never end up horizontal after exiting.

Anyways, After a moment or two, I felt a strong wind begin to blow. It was almost like a gust of wind, but was steady in its strength. It blew over me from head to toes. The weird thing was that it was moving me, but head first. So I was seemingly going against the wind, if that makes sense, and yet I knew it was what was moving me because I was simply lying there observing what was happening. It carried me for awhile and I soon left the ethereal and was in the astral.

I then came to an astral locale. I had read Astral Dynamics after this experience and RB described an experience in which he visited a type of astral hospital. His description is very similar to what I experienced here, with a few differences.

First I felt the wind slow down such that I was moving very slowly and still face up. I also perceived others being moved in a similar fashion with me to this same place. I then heard voices as someone said something like "I'll take this one" and I sensed something move to my left. I looked around and suddenly jerked in to a standing position. I was staring at a giant man. He was perhaps 20 feet tall, but was quite thin and bald. He was sitting in a type of chair. I startled him just as he startled me. I didn't move again or say anything, I just watched him. He then quickly recovered and bent his arms down and picked up a woman who had been floating to my left. He then held her in his arms like a parent holds a small child. She didn't seem conscious though, as I perceived her as a dull grey body. To me, that usually indicates the person is asleep and unconscious of where they are.

Now that I was standing, I walked past the giant and looked around. There were a number of people just lounging in the open rooms, like waiting rooms. There were others I knew to be working there. I remember walking up to a wall and knocking on it and noting how solid it was. I then asked what I perceived to be a nurse, if these people lived here. She told me no and that they only come here to heal. My sense was it was a temporary place that you go to when you need help healing.

I then turned and saw a friend from physical life. I recognized her immediately, but I also knew she wasn't conscious because she was also a dull grey color. I called her name and she turned to me. She got a bit brighter in color as we chatted for a minute, but then she lost consciousness again and went back to speaking to the other person again.

I then woke up back in my body.

That's the only time I've experienced any kind of wind/weather phenomena while out. It was really interesting to me that I could feel myself moving head first in to the wind, and yet it was still moving me that way somehow.   :dont-know:
Reality is what you perceive it to be.

GOD, you people are smart !  I love you all !!!

The Astral weather can be (if not) always a fantastic experience, The weather is always
changing in the Astral, That's what makes it so great. It also appears to
be more vibrant in colors, touch and feel. I too have experienced the breeze in the astral many times, And i really do love the weather in the astral, It never disappoints me, I think its one of those things i pay most attention to.

Your experience is fascinating Novice.

It's great that you are able to tell when people are asleep or not, through the colour they show.  I'm still too "self-focused" to observe my surroundings/ fellow beings.

As a brief update, in physical reality, I was walking across the car park last evening when I noticed there is a bright yellow JCB parked about 50ft from the block I live in.  I looked back at where my bed was and the line of vision would put the JCB slightly to the right - exactly where I saw it.

It's always great when something does fit into place, isn't it?!!
