Last night I awoke at 5-6am. I was wide awake. Then I closed my eyes but didn't entirely feel like I was sleeping . I was drifting but not having a real deep sleep. It was as though I was both in dream and awake? I saw this woman- she appeared in front of me ( eyes closed) , i kept staring at her ( again it didn't feel like a dream) . She was enormous. It was as though you are looking through a camera lens and a person stands right in front of you. It was hard to see her full length.Finally she stepped back and went to someone else that she was with and said " She sees me!" She was really excited. Then I saw a letter written to me. All it said was " life more , more life/". What is that? I am unsure where to post this, as I have never had an "awake type dream before. any ideaS?
I'm just curious, what was the woman like? did she remind you of anything? appearance? accent? I can't say exactly what that was, but sounds like very vivid hypnagogic imagery & sound that could have possibly blended into a dream.
Hi, no she dind't remind me of anyone. Although I think her hair was like mine, or similir. As I said she was very very tall , she shrunk as she went to this other person, but i didn't get too much detail on her. What is hypnogognic?
Hypnagogic is a state in between being akwake and being asleep. Your subconscious is starting to project random images and sounds and you can see them during sleep paralysis (I think), or just before you fall asleep. But anyways I would say this is hypnopompic because you woke up and saw them instead of going to sleep and seeing them.

Maybe try to be more aware in life through the senses (all 5)...maybe that will help to get the message. The key is to get the message of the dream intuitively--to 'sense' it.
Hey again ac. Thought I would get the ball running and offer up my comment about the tv shutting off. I used to live in a house that had a ghost that would mess with our tv, furniture, clothes closets, drawers, lights..etc..lol. I would fall asleep everynight while reading..making a point to leave the light on. Well, one morning I woke up to find the light off and my book across the room on my dresser. I asked everyone in the house, all said nope they didn't bother nor care to do that for me. I think it was the lady we named Mary Catherine, but it could have been me sleep walking without realizing it.
Just continue on your merry way and perhaps more stuff will happen that doesn't have such a question mark over it. Good luck! :)
When you first saw her, with eyes closed - was there any kind of expression on her face?
I think that the lady had sent you into a near-trance state, had parked herself inside of your aura and was right in the middle of feeding herself off of the prana in your e. body when you had interrupted her.
Many (mainly negative) use this kind of "postcard" (it being made by visualizing, shaping a "piece" of etheric energy) technique to place images into our mindspace. "Life" is the prana and/or the etheric energy your etheric body consists of.
Also, mirrors (the bigger the better) and screens of TV's and comp monitors can be used by (mainly negative) spirits as a kind of portal (a "hole" in the astral light leading into the physical dimension) to more easily penetrate our homes from the astral. This can be countered by completely covering the said mirror or screen with a white cloth.
Are you experincing any kin od weakness/exaushtion lately? Are your palms and fingers often cold, or your feet? Do you have any kind of problems with your sleep routine, can't go to sleep easily, waking to early or too late?
Also, in your dreams:
- do you often dream that you are a child again;
- do you often dream your family members and friends (almost every night), and youre always in some kind of closed environment, like a room or a car;
- do they tend to mostly stick close to you in the dream environment;
- if you do dream of your loved ones - do they tend to often look you straight in the eye and then keep looking;
- and specially: do they tend to touch you with their hands in any way, and then leave their hand there, like putting a hand on your shoulder, leading you around by hand, going hand in hand with you, puting a hand on your knee if you're seated etc.
All of these may be signs of an attack by negative spirits inside of your "dream", or better say the way your subconsciouss mind is interpreting, "translating" what's actually happening to you while you're dreaming.
Nikpalj.. please don't come here trying to find negative spirits or whatver amoung our members. I don't appreciate you trying to put fear in their experiences. It was not a negative spirit. And your "list" is just that, YOUR list. It doesn't necessarily mean the same thing for everyone else. Perhaps for people who can't get past the whole neg fad, but not for the majority.
Do you EVER have postive things to say? I saw on AD that you said you were having problems writing out long post these days...I'd say if you are having problem, you should not be handing out advice until you cleaned your own slate.
When we are born, we are assigned a spirit guide. Guardian angel, if you want to call it that.
These entities help us throughout our lives, and when we die, we can meet them. You can contact your spirit guide through meditation, but their can be spontaneous happenings in which you do actually meet your spirit guide. Judging from the fact that she was happy to see you, it could have been your spirit guide. Spirit guides do not always look like angels.
It could have just been hallucinations though.

It could have been a ghost/entity, your spirit guide, or your subconsciousness (hypnogogic imagery). It's hard to tell. Regardless of where it came from, it seems like you got the message you were meant to get. :)
