Hello everyone. This morning I had a very exciting experience!

After a night with a lot of dreams I was awake at 8.15 and wanted to try to go back to sleep. Then I thought I wanted to try to have an OBE, and did my "technique". I have always said that my OBE's are spontaneous and some really are but I realise it also has something to do with what I do. I always try to get a lucid dream by saying affirmations, and it gives me OBE's! The first few times I thought it was a coincidence but I know now it isn't and since a while I use it to try to induce an OBE.

So I said my affirmations and very soon I felt a shift in consciousness and I felt my (astral) body rocking. That woke me up again, but I knew what it was so I said the affirmations/sentences again. I felt a shift again and noticed that I could see 3D, I saw a lot of images and the next thing that happened was I felt electricity shooting through my body and I heard it too, a loud crackle in my ears. It was very intense!, lasted approx. one second and this was the first time that I felt it. I knew that it was the vibrations that so many other projectors have talked about. Until this morning I never had that, I used to wake up in F10 and could roll out of my body. But it didn't feel like vibrations, just pure electricity, lightening.

Then I thought :" I am really not going to do this to project", because I read about others saying that the vibrations could last very long before they could project and this was already so intense! Then I noticed that my face was not facing the wall like I was in my bed, but slightly upwards. LOL, I was already loose in my body ready to exit!  :-D I started to roll to the right like I normally do, and this time I also saw the surroundings of my bedroom. It was a bit dim but I could see while the other times I didn't see a thing at first. It felt very real and I really thought that I was going to fall off the bed when I rolled all the way to the right where the edge of the bed is. But I floated slowly down to the floor. I was still in the same posture that I had in bed, and strange enough I felt a strong resistance to go further. I didn't feel fear but just didn't want to stand up and look around etc. The next moment I was back in my body and I woke up. After a few minutes I regretted that I had stopped it.

This felt much more real than my other OBE's and I am positive that this was RTZ. I am very excited because this feels like a big step forward. Ofcourse I will try it again and I hope that I can practise a lot. Thank you for reading.  :-)

Wow! You deliberately went into a full OBE from a non-dream state. That's great! I recall you wrote in a recent post that you usually can only go OOB from a dream. This is a BIG step for you.  :-o Many times people find that what was once nearly impossible (or at least very very difficult) later becomes Do-able and then gets easier with practice. It would be the same for you here - the ability to go OOB from a normal, non-dream state of mind Will get easier until you can do that with relative ease on a continuous basis.

Thanks Grey! Yes, I had never thought that this would happen, and I did exactly the same thing as all the other times. But the other times I would fall asleep first, and this time I didn't. I wonder what made it change... So it is true that everyone finds out a sort of personal technique that works best for him/her. Life is full of mysteries and wonders!  :-D

Yeah!, you're exactly right. Going OOB is much more than an art than a science. What works for you may or may not work for me. The only BIG secret that I have learned is to be open to trying new things and to Keep trying!
