The Astral Pulse

Hi to everybody at Astral Pulse.  8-)
This OBE happened nearly a month and a half ago, in mid-May. But I have been lax in keeping up to date on this forum so have just now got around to posting it. It is titled -------

   Late at night I was in the perfect pre-projection state of mind awake-body asleep (and in sleep paralysis). Immediate thoughts of an OBE began forming in my mind. Sudden strong vibrations began coursing through my body. Soon I was able to increase the strength of these vibrations.
   I made a deliberate effort at separation and projection. It took 2 or 3 tries before I could 'stand up' out of body. It felt so 'real' that at first I thought that perhaps I had physically stood up (while sleepwalking?!?). Then I saw my physical body asleep in bed and so was assured that it was an (ethereal) projection.
   Less than a minute into this OBE I went through the large screen window and flew above the street. Flight skills were good but vision was a problem. It took a lot of time and effort to navigate between trees and around power lines. At one tree I stopped to observe 2 birds on a branch. These animals must have been physical because neither was aware of my presence.  I actually touched one of the birds without getting a reaction from it.
   Shortly I began flying uphill. After cresting the hill and passing over the baseball field I quickly descended downhill. From this point on, for the next five to ten minutes, the area was completely unfamiliar. Either the OBE had become a dream or else the RTZ-ethereal landscape was much different than the physical area. Either way nothing else of much importance happened and I flew around for five to ten minutes until the OBE ended.
   Notes. Time of projection was approximately 2:30 to 5:00 AM. Duration was 20 minutes. I lay on my left side. OBE #84 was in Locale I, a familiar location. There were no familiar person(s) or being(s). There were unfamiliar animals -- 2 birds (but no people). Deliberate,  Drugs-alcohol (had nearly a full bottle of wine that day),  Energy-pranayama,  Flight,  Meditation,  Saw Own Body, Sleep paralysis, and Vibrations.

So there it is. Nothing very dramatic but the flight was quite enjoyable. Actually I had many OBEs flying over this area when I was a child and a teenager. But I had never heard of OBEs back then and considered them to be only special dreams.

Hey Grey! I think the flight OBEs are the best. How great it would be to be a bird and fly all over the place.
