I have had a few experiences recently where I have been dreaming and suddenly gained lucidity inside of F2/phased successfully.  I will immediately approach the nearest person (if there is someone in the room/locale that I know I will choose them) and say "Do you know that your in my dream?"  I have asked quite a few people this and I was wondering if any of you have and how they respond.  For me they generally seem to snap out of a trance state (they blink rapidly and look confusedly around at their surroundings) and say "No...." and seem shocked.  They also tend to regard me with a bit of fear as well.  Just the other night I was in a dream about a school and there where tons of people in a classroom.  An older lady insulted me for some reason and I walked up to her and grabbed her by the throat and said "you know your in my dream right?" and she continued her diatribe against me and I repeated "you know your in MY dream?" and she blinked a few times and said "No..." looking around rather worriedly and shut up like she realized where she was and the fact that she was essentially insulting a god.

I said "Do you want me to kill you?  Do you want this to be painful?"  She cowered before me when just a minute before she was insulting me and going on about how I was terrible and I havent even seen her before!!  I was a bit shocked the whole time, not knowing what would happen.  I honestly think I was just as scared as she was!!!  I just cant get over the reaction I get every time I ask this question.  Its like I awaken them and they suddenly realize that the moment I wake up they are gone.  They seem to have a will to survive and separate and self sustained emotions.  Anyone else have any experience with this?  If you havent and remember this will you ask someone for me?  Thanks.

Your mean...anyways when i ask they already know and are ok with, no one think of me as any different then everyone else...until I display my powers

Firstly i agree with labouts, your mean ,

I think this is one of those questions everyone has asked at some point when lucid dreaming, especially during the first few lucid dreams, so there should be no shortage of responses. In my experience the response i usually get is one of disbelief, sometimes laughing (at me). If i show them something to prove it, use powers etc, the response is usually a look of awe, fear or once again disbelief.
Even when i prove it to dream characters they seem to always believe i have some gift they havn't, and not that they are infact a part of my dream.

I figured id get a mixed response, but I am wondering as to why some peoples dream characters know they are what they are and are fine with it like labouts and why mine and yours dont know and dont believe us.

My dream characters know their my creation. This will sound bad ,but I think of people as my puppets because I'm very good at manipulation.  That could be why, just has something to do with how you see people.
